@hurricanesofhell its more because of his powers. chaos spear, teleporting, ability to use vehicles, a longer homing attack reach, and everything that sonic can do (even boost according to his sonic generations rivals fight)... sonic has never officially beaten shadow in a race either (sa2 race was for both stories, so it remained undetermined)... butif it was a pure fight,shadow would win hands down!
