  • Wow, that is very impressive work than I'm thought that skate wouldn't been work, but they does! Holy banooka!

  • that horse is a babeeeee

  • That's Amazing!!! What a great horse!

  • If you've ever had a relationship with a horse that is so close it trusts you to do all sorts of silly stuff, you will recognize the horse in the video is doing what it is doing because it is being ASKED not forced. Some horses and riders just plain old like eachother and work as a team.. That horse is part of a team.

  • @Larktrill some horses just don't give a shit about anything

  • @dickgl0ver

    Further to RoyCobden's post;

you CAN abuse a horse, by breaking it's spirit - but it always shows. There's no way that horse was 'broken' in the way you suggest. The way it was carrying itself, and responding to its rider shows that, far from being a browbeaten slave, it was enjoying being part of the team. If you think that horses are stupid, you clearly know nothing about them.

@Tayyyy - if by 'very quiet' you mean a dozy plod - look again. Very bright - and VERY well trained.

  • @Tabourba Completely AGREE!!!

  • @Tabourba I think they meant "very quiet" as in eager, willing, and not spooky.

  • That horse must be very quiet.

    thats insane,

  • i wonder what would happen if the guy on the skates just ate it

  • hahah thats awesomeee(:

  • i like the billboard in the background: DRINK AND DRIVE!

...and horses are stupid, @Divagirl - seriously? dont you have to 'break' a horse (aka - abuse) to get it to let you ride it?

  • @dickgl0ver

So when you break in your new car does that mean 'abuse it' to you as well?

There's no 'abuse' involved in breaking a horse by anyone who knows the first thing about it.

Anyone who does resort to abuse has no business pretending they know what they are doing.

  • @RoyCobden There's a fundamental difference between a horse and a car. A horse is a living being, a car is not. You cannot abuse a car, you can misuse it, but as it is not living, there is no abuse.

As for this video, I saw no abuse, only a very willing and well trained horse doing something pretty darned cool!

  • @najiwench You completely misunderstand me. I took exception the comment by @dickgl0ver who believes that "breaking" a horse means abusing it. It does not.

Breaking in a new car correctly requires being extra gentle & careful with it. Just as breaking a horse should be done.

The PROCESS of training it to accept tack & saddle & eventually rider is still called "breaking", regardless of whether it's being done by a sadistic, abusive hack or by a gentle, psychological "horse whisperer".

  • @dickgl0ver No, you gentle a horse, train it to accept direction. You CAN "break" it, but that is barbaric and old fashioned. Most modern trainers know how to work WITH the animals, and teach them rather than breaking them and forcing them.

  • omg thats awesome! :D

  • that looks like fun what an awesome horse!

  • omg i well wanna try this. my sisters a skier & i'm a showjumper, i want it to happen in england lol

  • HOW FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm sure this would be even better if I knew what the announcer was saying but it's still fun and INSANE.

  • How good is this...lol

  • Wow, that is an amazing horse to put up with that! Such an athlete!! AWESOME!

  • Just when you thought there were no new sports in the equestrian world . . . ! Loved the "Cottoned-eyed-Joe" playing in the background! Being from Texas and all.

  • Crazy!!!!!!!!! >:p]

  • YAY!! COOL!

  • that is so cool!!!!! i want to do this now!!!!

  • Now that was awesome!

Bravo on the horse and to the guy on the roller blades.

Being a horse person, I know how much time and effort that took on everyone's part.

    Fantastic job!

The USA should have such a sport.

  • Now this is what I call a combined event!!!

  • This is the summer version of "ski joring." Do a search.

It's the way to include your non-riding, but skate/snow boarding, roller blading boyrfriend! :-)

  • Hahaha whoa cool! What a talented trio!!

  • What a great horse!

  • Good horse. They can be so tolerant and willing.

  • I've watched this three times and am still utterly baffled. But I think I like it!!!

  • Now , There's something new I can do with my driving horse.

  • My Standardbred would love to pull someone around on rollerblades!!

  • wow... that is so amazingly stupidly cool. I imagine it took a lot of wiping out to figure out how to steer and hit all the ramps... :D

  • Thanks for the laugh, that looks like so much fun! Loved the music!!

  • The announcer sounds like he has a Swiss accent.

  • YES.

  • EPIC

  • Okk, that horse is AWESOME. My horse would be so freaked out with a person following him like that. He would definitely need blinders... lol... we'd go pretty darn fast though!! hah

  • Unbelievable COOL!!!!!!!!! WOW!

  • i love this

  • oh my sides!!!! xx

  • This is so awesome! Germany is soo cool!

  • I absolutely love it! Amazing skill and made me laugh until my sides hurt!
