Bottom line is, an era ended and the WWE will take a new course. This monday was a good start. Let's just hope it becomes fairly watchable soon.

bollocks, the storylines were better, the actors were better and it looked more realistic. Not to mention bigger crowds a better atmosphere and more charismic wrestlers, why do you think most of them have moved on to hollywood acting? because they made it look awesome. Now it looks like shit and faker than ever with no blood, dare devil moves or big impact stuff. WWF back in the day was better than anything on tv, period.

@InternetAesHole lmao no he wouldnt because unlike today, pretty much every wrestler back then on the roster had good mic skills and most only stayed in the mid card or upper mid card during the attitude era, just look at raven, eddie guerrero, kurt angle, road dogg, chris jericho etc. Rapper cena would only get cena so far in the buisness that the only division he would be successful in is hardcore and maybe european division.

The worked shoots & promos they would both do to each other, and the intense storyline between them, how raven pretty much was once, the exact opposite of cm punk was. wwe pretty much copied that with the cm punk vs jeff hardy storyline.

The wrestlers I mentioned didnt even follow the script back in their hay day, they just went out and said whatever was on their mind, jericho, the rock, even mic foley mentioned in their books that when they were given scripts backstage on what to say they would crumple the script and throw it in the trash, they would shoot promos and just freestyle (example: watch every y2j and the rock segment backstage.)

Oh wow the rock doesn't use a script...but he sure likes to drop those stupid catch phrases 40 times during a 5 minute promo. John Cena OWNED the rock when they had their little mic battles, but rock had to do the most of those 'via satellite' which were lame as fuck. Paul Heyman also said that CM PUNK was the best person to ever speak on a mic.

Have a PG smackdown with John cena and bigshow and all the homos.... and make RAW rated PG 14 and make raw the flagship show it once was.......and the little kids can watch smackdown on fridays..... And it's perfect because smackdown starts at 8 so they will only miss the last half hour after they go to bed ! :p
