as a lifelong Chevy guy can someone please explain to me how on earth these turbo'd lsx's are running 11's and high 10's when there are like 500 little mustangs in San Antonio running low 9's and 8's with way way les cubic inches and ...well.ford power?.dont make sense to me......honestly explain it?

@THEMASTEROFYOU2000 The simple explanation is that there are only 3 2011 Mustang GT's running 9's or 8's on SVTP, and there are 2010 Camaro SS' running 9's or 8's on Camaro5. The difference is 13 different Camaro's are running 10's on Camaro5 and only 6 Mustangs on SVTP running 10's. The Camaro's are performing better in numbers, but the GT still has the fastest time because Lingenfelter can't make the suspension sit right..

@104patrickanderson - it's a daily driver. This kit has been turned up for the LSX shootout, but the Fastlane turbo kit is designed for a daily driver. Even with the Kit turned up like this, the car was driven around every night during the LSX shootout and it still won on the last day.

the hennessey with the ls9 in it is faster, i'm not sure about better though. if this single turbo SS still rides comfortably, i'd have it over the hennessey ls9 monster. as a matter of fact, the less powerful camaro ss they supercharged has been said to have a rather rough ride. it just depends on what you really want i guess

best time was 10.87, but the fastest run was the 10.90. The car made 6 passes on the stock engine without icing or anything and got consistent times. The owner even drove it all night in Memphis Saturday night...
