Not to troll, but pretty soon (like within the next 9 months) the battlefield engine will have to bow down to the Direct X-12 engine Halo 4 is using.

@Tomatthanex Direct x-12 when handling halo 4 is made for console. The lighting is very impressive but it cant handle the size of maps that frostbite 2 can handle. Even on pc halo 4 will will look good but for realism Battlefield 3 looks incredibly amazing. The sounds are the best (this is a fact). I am sure halo 4 sounds are very good but I dont think it will beat frost bite 2. Remember that frostbit 2 was built for pc and then later modified for console. Direct x-12 is made for console.

@robob221 wow thats actually the first reply i've ever gotten on youtube that actually makes sense and has facts that contradict what i said, nicely done! now my reply to your reply, the halo gameplay and style doesnt need the size of maps that battlefield does and if it did, i wouldnt really like that because it doesnt seem to fit right. and if you go check out the halo 4 sounds, they sound just as good as battlefields, just in a different sort of way.

@Tomatthanex But I have to say that in the past halo campaigns, there have been huge areas. Remember when you had to destroy the crab thing in halo 3? The area that you were fighting in at that part of the campaign was very large. Now, when comparing a map size like that vs a similar map size from battlefield 3 I think will still look a bit better than halo 4 mainly because the frostbite engine was built to handle such large maps from the start of the battlefield series.

Absolutely great video, great angles and setting. The only real stand out error is the tank. Amongst a video showing almost photoreal environments, it moves jerkily and really weirdly as though barely in control or not functioning "within the tone" of the music and visuals.

But hey, I'm being picky. It's a gorgeously made video. Excellent job!

EA makes both crysis, and battlefield.... the thing is.... if you actually focus on the games, (such as the run, and battlefield) the run and battlefield both run off tweeked versions of frostbite 2. - battlefield version - 50% to cutsceens, fps playable cutsceens - 50% to playing. the run - 25% to game - 75% to cutsceens, and playable cutsceens. crysis - almost 100% to gameplay, and just turns cutsceens into a playable time of which the player looses HUD, etc
