  • I thought sunny was haru not hare

  • It really helps that it shows what the Hiragana is!! Because sometimes I see the symbols and i'm like "ahh! What does that mean" but then I can read the hiragana!! Arigatou gozaimasu!!

  • @GenkiJapanNet ... or any one else, what does tokidoki mean

  • Hare o tenki.

Am I doing it right? Or is it the opposite of what's suppose to be. Yeah, it's probably the latter...

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • Tenki wa ame desu.. :s

  • OMG.. My Japanese teacher got our class to watch this last year, and ever since people are always asking to watch this. I admit it's cool and catchy, but after 20 or more times of hearing it, well.. it kind of drives you insane!! I spent weeks trying to build up a mental block towards this song!! I don't even know why I'm watching it now...

  • Uwa, such a cute song > w< Hare tokidoki! Kumori tokidoki! Yuki tokidoki! Ame!

  • May I ask, why, like in 'hare' do they have another symbol for the 'ha' part? Why didn't they just use the hiragana like they did with the 're' part?

  • @BlatentlyBooshified They were showing the Kanji, then how it's said above it. The correct term for this is: Furigana. Putting smaller text in Hiragana above more difficult Kanji,

  • funny ;D

  • LOL ^^ kawaii XP

    sayonara

  • ahh..why is it sooo cute

  • wow cool

  • there is diffrent languages inn japan and which one would this be?

  • theres only Japanese. And English...sort of...

  • no. There are different dialects. If you mean writings, then this is Kanji with hiragana as furigana (the symbols you see above the big ones)

  • so do i kave to write the little symbols that are above the big symbols for it to be snowy or rainy or whatev?

  • No, that's hiragana. It says the same thing as the kanji but uses consonant/vowel clusters like ki ka mi mu, stuff like that... it's the childlike way of writing nouns or ideas. You're supposed to move on to Kanji. Hiragana is then just used for stuff like object markers.

  • There is also polite Japanese, but its only used by people like Flight attendants etc.
