  • Sir Augustus clearly couldnt tell Wellington Nairn and Sharpe were all taking the piss

  • I hate all those Posh bastards, acting so high above everyone else. Sharpe outa teach them a lesson in what makes a real soldier and officer. He outa teach them right between the eyes.

  • uber

  • I love this part of the episode, teresa says to farthingdale, "we Moreno's are of the blood, we know who is a man of manners and who is a man of the mouth, and you sir agustus are a man of the mouth, take my advice and shut it before someone shuts it for you". i also love it when she says, "if you were a man i would call you out, force you to fight a duel and kill you" classic teresa at her best, cheers for posting this

  • but the bit after is great too.

"Close thing that, Sir. They call her The Needle... don't ask me why"

    "Am I in danger?"

"(trying not to laugh) Escort Colonel Farthingdale to his quarters, would you?"

It's Wellington's straight face that does it, that and before Sharpe comes in - they take the mickey out of his book.

  • i like it how sharpe places on a slight poshnees to his voice to proove that even when raised from the ranks he can still be a gentleman without being highly born.

  • what the bloody hell happened to Hogan?

  • @rifleman1122 the actor became very sick and had to quit, it's too bad, i liked him

  • uh,i dont really think that "hump" was really used at this time for sex

  • "Who is this fool?" haha utterly classic :) 3:10

  • Colonel Farthingdale is so dense to fake flattery and such a coward, it's hilarious. It seems the General much enjoyed the banter in this episode :) Moreno is classic with her comments. "if you were a man" lol :)

  • @joslynn417 no it was "a bit of a fumble" as quoted in eagle.

  • @joslynn417 or diddle as quoted earlyer in enamy,

  • The last part in the tent is absolutely hilarious.

  • "i am in danger" he's goddamn right he is she'd kill without hesitation for insulting her man god i love that woman

  • How could he write a book on the war in Spain without having been there?

  • Those born to privillage also think they know it all, thats how.

  • The way she comes out of the smoke was just way hot.

  • Sorry I was late I was shagging this bimbo for a full hour, I mean I was inspecting rockets for a full hour! LOL!!!

  • Dont talk about horses sharpe !.

    I LOVE THIS LINE :D:D

  • fantastic how the rockets stop you see the faces of shapre and harper slowely come up and look stuned then seeig treesa apeearing from the smoke is just commical thiking "how the fuck did she get by that"

  • "how dare you madam"! lmao that's pure comedy

  • " Once they have the gold they will hump her to death and there is dam all we can do about it"

That is one of my favourite lines! lol

  • Welsley is my Second favorite character in this series.

Only because Sharp is so damn awesome but I love the way Welsley condescends to the colonel.

  • i love how sharpes accent changes when hes in the presence of wellington. everyone would have been like this who was trying to impress spot on little accuracies! 5 thumps up lol

  • lmaooo teresa, 'if you were a man, i'd call you out' omg so hardcore xD <3

  • I hate farthingdale he's a twit and knows nothing of war. He doesn't deserve that uniform at all, as teresa said he is a man of the mouth.

  • @Spectre333 Excellent usage of the word "twit." That word isn't used here anymore.

  • Teresa is awesome!

  • Why is she called "The Needle"?

  • It's what she fights with. A needle-like dagger that she uses to kill her enemies. Plus she's also got a needle-like body build.

  • Don't ask ;-)

She stabs French officers in the back as they snog her lol

  • She is called the needle because it is the name Sharpe comes up with for her in the book Sharpes gold which is the first mention of her in the books.

  • god u got to hate fobs like this one. i cant believe we use to have idiots like him in charge. thank god teresa put him in place.

  • It is 'Fops' though actually Lol he aint a watch

  • Amen to that brother, I don't know how the English were able to win the war with such incompetent men.

  • Well it's a lot better than having your average hollywood action movie where all the americans are flawless immortal cowboys mowing down entire armies and where all the enemies are ugly malevolent retards.

  • your right.

  • i love thease showes much better than the patriot

  • Lol the Patriot was even more historically inaccurate than Braveheart -- even the privates wore powdered wigs and spoke posh, total garbage. And the Brits are all portrayed as pathologically evil *rolls eyes* - I bet they regret giving the French such credit too, given the whole 'freedom fries' thing, a few years after it was made.

  • I think it hilarious how the Yanks where about changing names of food and alsorts 'cause the french wouldnt kiss their arse and they never even mentioned of giving the French back the statue of liberty.

  • The statue was a hand-me-down, originally intended to mark the Suez canal looking east, but when not funded, was shipped to the US.

  • :))

i like teresa more than miss jane gibbons. i like lucille too

  • Has anyone else notice that Sharpe and Teresa seem to always make out in a barn or stable!?

  • Thanks for uploading this mate.

Sharpe is a great TV Show.
