The Finnish DN-Ice Yacht Association welcomes all DN sailors of the world to the season 2009-2010 opening regatta on the 13th to 15th of November 2009 in Northern Finland.

I have an old dv camcorder that i use for this type of stuff, a sony DCRTRV9, with a small wide angle lens. I simply duct taped it to the bow pointing back. And I used my Mac iBook to edit it with iMovie. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Austin, totally awesome video. I live in Clarkston and started ice-boating about 13 years ago. I have a skimmer and have always thought it would be neat to own a DN. I bought a blo-kart three years ago and have been doing a lot of landsailing. I went to el-mirage in california in march and sailed in a land yacht race in long beach. Also visited ivanpaugh dry lake and roach dry lake. WE can do about 50 on the desert and in the high forties in a large parking lot.

I have grown a curiosity towards land yachting, however I have not seen it personally. How much are those blo-karts?

Austin, Blo-Karts are about 2700 with one sail. They have 2,3, and 4 meter sails available. If you want to demo a kart let me know and I can introduce you to a dealer. It is great fun for the price and a real convenient piece of machinery. Dean
