@stevehammett69 There's a double-disc set called Styx: Gold. This version is on there. Sam's Club used to have it, but you might be able to find it on ebay or amazon.
ok, how did i miss this minute longer version all of my life.. what is it on? I have to know now....I always wished it was just a little longe,,, I'm trippin....Drummer 63
If you're a white man in American or a veteran like I am and you don't think this song is great you suck and probably watch reality shows and enjoy American Idol and would spend $110.00 on Clay Aiken tickets.
AMEN TO THAT BROTHER. I have wanting to post a video in military.com site using this song to my pay tribute to all my military brothers and sisters just need to find the right set of images to do them and this song justice
Yep. This was my theme song in 1988-89 when my life was falling apart. The Lord Jesus Christ though new the cry in my heart and in an instant, my life changed! It ain't all easy now, but I know the truth that there is an eternity awaiting and through his sacrifice all my sins are gone!
oh my god this is one of the best songs i have ever heard. i feel like this song is announcing the end of the world or something. it's so epic. it gives me the chills
Man in the Wilderness is Tommy Shaw's Castle Walls. Not widely known as a Styx hit, but the music speaks for itself. One of the best they have created. The best part about it is that it does not have gowan in it.
Check your info, Wofat. Tommy Shaw a BIG part of Styx. Most STYX hits and albums were written, composed, created by Dennis (His brother plays a GREAT BASS, also)
Sorry you misunderstood me, I'm pretty aware of the dynamics of styx. I was just saying that Tommy Shaw wrote Man in the Wilderness and Dennis DeYoung wrote Castle Walls. The two songs are not regulary on the greatest hits albums. Lol, I own the Dennis DeYoung symphony cd, dvd and his new cd 100 Years From Now. I am awaiting to hear who he will duet with in the domestic version of the the title song.
This kicks so much ass!!! Styx + Firefly = ... I don't even have words for it. Awesome vid!
