@katz10089 I've actually have seen a few of the original puppets for sale at auction. They were brought in by the son of either Rankin/Bass (I forgot). He owned 3 of them and had th elf who wanted to be a dentist, one of the misfit toys and the Lion (King of the misfit toys). I really wanted "The Dentist" for my wife and kids (ok, for me too!) but I bowed out around 7G's. The final price was $14,500 plus 20% auction fee. Not bad for an old puppet!

Dolly is perhaps there because she feels she is unloved (as King Moonracer explains about misfits) and perhaps the little girl who onced played with her is now grown up and Dolly now sits in a box unwanted waiting to be loved by another little girl again "In certain circles" this explanation is offered and widely accepted by Misfit Philosophers. 2. THE bird flies in the end so idk what his problem is...

I know it's silly , but the Misfit Toys segment of Rudolph (when telecast each year) is just as the most important TWO MINUTES of the year as is the Kentucky Derby.

 Hasn't ,the last 47 years since this was first shown , the most important thing in this country been to downplay the differences between US!! and that everyone does NOT have to conform to one exact norm & standard to be accepted.

It only came on once when it was filmed, I know it was aired at least 3 times (just got the royalty check last week) last year. I love the fact we have options on when we can see the shows.
