  • Perfect!

  • He probably never smoked that is why he sounds so good. God gives gifts to last a lifetime and we destroy them with bad stuff.

  • I love it when the original song is not changed and sounds just like the record. Great job Frankie.

  • @hussnfussel7

Ha, yeah, like Frankie says at the beginning, "It doesn't go something like this. It goes EXACTLY like this!"

  • @DooWopJoe one time frankie did a charity telethon and said if you dont send money im going to come to your house and im not going to leave

  • @spacepatrolman

    LOL Gotta love Frankie!

  • Excellent performance!

  • Holy shiiite Frankie is great and plays the shit out of that piano.....

  • My daughter and I saw him in concert here in Greensboro, NC several years ago. He was on a show with the late Del Shannon, The Dixie Cups, and several others. We were lucky to get front row seats. I was singing along with him and he actually looked at me and over the mic said "You're not old enough to know this song." That made me feel great since I was 8 years old when it came out originally.

  • Yay I found my favorite song from the movie "my american cousin"! :D

  • HOW THE FUCK CAN SOMEONE DISLIKE THIS!!!

  • Sounds a lot like "Big Bopper" in parts...

  • He was performing on the 700 club with all of those 50 rockers setting there

  • this is the sh*t.....

  • Jimmy Clanton was also there & performed.

  • IS THAT LIL RICHARD BEFORE HE WENT BLACK?

    ROFL!!!

  • Yes, he has taken good care of his voice. Great energy too.

  • @pa017064 Contrast him with Jerry Lee Lewis who threw caution to the wind.

Louisiana must have been a rockin' place in the '50's!

  • I like this guy he's funny

  • wooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooo this was great fun!! my feet had to hit the floor & dance my socks off! Man we did great w/the music didn't we!! No doubt we change the direction, flow, rythm, etc etc for all times. Frankie Babes...WOW YOU STILL LOOKING GOOD!! *hubba hubba* hahahahahaha! thanks for sharing this wonderful & most memorable performers video! *keeps on dancing* ooooooweee baby ooooweeeeeee

  • what a singer, oh my god!

    what more is there say

  • Does anyone know where he is performing? Would love to see him again. What a voice - awsome. He is some piano player. Happy Birthday Frankie. Love, Donna .

  • I wish they would re-play this on PBS.

  • Hey..! i see, D.J. Fontana was also there...! (Elvis´ early drummer)

  • Oh dear Lord. Thank you so much for this. I'm in heaven!!!!

  • possibly the coolest guy of all time

  • again still great, he can wail on the keys

  • his voice is exactly like the original record

    which is 50 years old.

    HOW?

  • Frankie is one of the lucky ones who has kept his voice, and I think it is through a lot of hard work and constant performing. Check out my posting of him doing "Gone" from this same event. The strength of his voice just blew everyone away!

  • @golyg Jay Black too!

  • One of the greatest rock 'n roll records - EVER!!

  • this guy has lost nothing. sounds just like he did in 1959. amazing. I am going to write him & tell him what an icon i think he is.

  • Where did you get these great videos, Joe? Sensational!
