@Myklandestine Myspace yes, youtube no. You cannot watch any videos on the x-tc, it has no video support, so trying to watch them via miniSD doesn't work either.

well i have had it for about 2 months and i take realy good care of my phone but now it freezes and doesnt turn on and if it does it doesnt charge i cant message wit it or anything i got it replaced 3 times at differnt places and it still always happened but if u r looking for a good phone get the lg rumor 2 it is awesome !

umm the messaging on the rumor 2 is great my messages r easy to read u get them very quickly and its very easy to type i cant tell u which one is better because i have never tried the messenger 2 but all i know is the rumor 2 is awesome

Cellphonereviewdude- I say get the X-tc only because its only 80.00 on the website when u use Promotion codes: School2009 or Phones2009 or Phone2009 The only thing different about the Rumor2 is it has Maps&Naviagtion...like GPS. That's about it! I have the X-tc and im on IM and when i get alerts u put it on Slient and incase u dont want it to beep it wont!

Probably no way to do that. It probably just has crappy batter power due to what it runs and how it runs it. Also the batter might just be total crap (THOUGH I have never really had any major problems with Virgin Mobile batteries and have actually preferred them over let's say Samsung or what have you)

Can you Explain why it hard to hear?

There have been complaints about this phone and I experienced the same problem with the one I had about Volume as I could not hear very good the volume is just very low even when turned on high but it can all be resolved with an ear piece or Bluetooth.

my bro has this phone its Aight! but there some things tht suck about it like when you put min. on the phone yhou have to look at it weird and its very confusing when you first get it the connection cord for the MP3 was very hard to find!

I dont know about video because theres no way to record and theres also no way you can add video so if you can do it you would have to watch threw the vm internet, I will make video on music player and check into the video settings for you but I really dont think it works that way but you never know.

Re: the call quality, there is a smart volume type thing in the settings that adjusts the earpiece volume automatically, turn that off and it improves the listening quality immensley.

Battery Life is very good and the sound quality for music is great its just the call quality thats not so great.

Does your media thing work, because my sd card will not transfer any of my music onto my phone?

Mine was like that at first too what you do is you have to completly clear the files and music and whatever you have on the card off on the pc so its empty of everything then you put the sd empty in ur cell it will make two folders pictures and music then you go and put the card back in pc and drag drop music pics in the folder they go in try that out and let me know if it worked it did on mine!

I went to Radioshack and figured out what the problem is. I had to change all of my music files to mp3s instead of wmas. Then I just moved them to the 'My Music' folder and that's it. I hope. -doing it as I type-
