It's actually hard to tell if it's good or bad because the audio is so bad. All you can hear is the guitar and bass drum. Adding the French horn is a daring idea. I played horn in school. At you least you guys are out there doing it. More than most of the shit talkers can say.

Is it just me or is the rythm of the song really unstable? No offence but I think the guitar riff is pretty much horrible. The singing is twice as horrible as the guitar riff. The drumming is really boring. And you're right about the bassist playing piano instead of bass. Leaving this shitty band will be one of the smartest desicions in your life. Truthfully, it's a pretty basic song but for it to work at all it has to be played by musicians who mesh together. We were playing at the same time, but definitely not together... and as far as the guitar goes I didn't write that riff :P For the shit guitar sound, look no further than the GodAWFUL Line 6 amp I was playing through that day.

Glad you got a laugh out of the video though! I don't see it as part of my musical experience though, at all... I don't play like this.

I was mainly only in the band for assessment purposes, and during most of my write-ups I would complain about the singer being uncommittal, and would refer to the band as 'Shitgun'.

It took me a while but I did meet some good musicians and we did have some fun... it was all the more rewarding after being in a band like this.

The thing about TAFE, at least in the last couple of years anyway, is that they seem hell bent on getting as many students in there as possible; regardless of if they're any good or not.

It took me almost two full years to find guys that I wanted to play with that were any good, and by that time I was finished with the place anyhow.

That's basically it, but the tragic thing was that the facilities were so bloody useful. I loved the studio at that place, and considering that I basically had free run of the joint for two years ... it stinks knowing that it's overrun by lazy bastards who don't even know what they're doing there.

Luckily I was mates with a few people (towards the end, at least) who were taking it seriously.
