@leconjugueur if you can't do a full squat, work your way up to it. If all you can do at the beginning is just stand there, so be it. Next time, just flex the muscles you would use. After that, bend just a little bit. Then a little bit more. Your knee will tell you what it can and cannot take so follow it's lead but keep challenging it. Again, if you can't do a full squat, it's in your interest to gradually work the muscles around the knee. Working your way up to a squat still helps.

My doc said, my knees hurt cos my knees are weak.
But, how am I supposed to do squats when it hurts to go up a single stair?
I don't think knee pain should be "worked-through."
