I like steampunk because I love Victorian anyway and it is a costume that does not exclude the older generation. Grandma might not look so hot in a mini but she can get away in a steampunk get up!
I found an old, cool pocket-watch, took it apart. You have no idea how mad my mom was when she saw that the old thing I had taken apart was the last thing she had of her grandpa. D:
lol I said the same thing when I found out what steampunk is... like "wow it would have been so much easier to find jewelry I love if I knew it had a name!"
super cool! and easy, it would be cool to buy some metal thread and make scoop rings for necklaces long loops are to hard to want to sell, just afraid the loops you make from making your own springs, and then cutting them ofcourse to make little ring what can i do besides gluing each loop together?
Yes, thank you! I love this kind of stuff, it is amazing! I'm trying to make my own, about to make reeeeaaaaal good friends with the people at my local clock repair store XD
I love the scrable piece at the very end. I recently made some out of polymer clay, but was wondering how you attach them to the brass? What kind of glue did you use? Thanks!
I've been making jewelry for 8 years, so I tend to watch videos with a critical eye. I find myself at a loss for suggestions as to how you could improve this.
Your humility and enthusiasm is outstanding. Keep up the excellent work.
Only discovered steampunk today and I'm already in love with it :D hopefully it's a good way to spend the Easter holidays for me :) where did you get all those parts
It is truly like you say....so many of us have had this type of creating in our minds for years, it is just putting it all together in the brain, through the heart and to the hands! You are amazing. I love your way of communicating, so down to earth. Thank you! Looking forward to looking at all your videos.
that pendent looks like it would be really nice as a buckle for a purse or bag
i just went to my first convention and loved every second of it
i really liked the whole steampunk style but as of this weekend i want to actively be a part of it and was wondering where i could find gears cogs watch faces and other things and tools to slowly get started could you please help me out ^/////^
@trekranger If you are talking about the little silver circles like ones on shoes you can get them from the craft store but you need a special gun that can be found in a kit or still in the store.
omg you are so awsome i love steampunk
