....that's correct...he was neither a believer nor an atheist. This is very important to understand...I have put together a book on this...search Wildman Walker's blog and click on the link 'book'...the book is called The Dawn of Intelligence
he knows he is about to die, and he has no answers...he knows that we all have the same fears and ignorance...he wants us each look into the questions and not look to an old man to give them the answers..there is no honest person who is about to die that thinks they have reached any conclusions..all people, when they honestly look at themselves know that they are just a student, and not a teacher..the reason we listen to these teachers is not to get answers, but to be inspired to ask questions
he has insight, whats the meaning of that word, does it mean in front of you, in view, in that which you penatrate or perceived, living in the outer, free from the mind.
seek and you will find, thats the nature of man, that to me means question everything, what you say i will disect it and question evryword, and know its very meaning, there you will find truth.
... he was neither a believer nor an atheist. This was something above the dualistic conditioned programming of culture and tradition, which we are caught in, and so thinking in terms of opposites.
Thank you. I posted the question to review some possible answers people may have. I felt he was not, at least in the same way I am also neither. I like him because he reminds me of my grandmother and because he is passionate in his own wisdom, the same way I am passionate for my own knowing. I like that he is so full of life, so concerned, so responsible. I talk as if he is still alive. At least for me if I am able to see him, look into his eyes, listen to the message and understand..He is.
He certainly didn't take a literal view of some belief and worship of a deity and being taken in by a organized religion. I don't see why calling him an atheist is taboo or disagreeable.
Ure right buddy ! He believes in nothing....he just have an insight into what love is really is....u can feel it, I can feel it, but its not the love that we know and we can tell our wife in the morning : I love u. Its something else, everybody feels it, some tries to hide it with religion, others try to look at it....but we are soooooo conditioned not to love...but we still have this liitle kid of 3 or 4 years old inside of us that knows what JK is talking about...
@seastarwatcher i am an atheist and for me it means non dual mind. reality based on facts. i think the term atheist is misunderstood. atheism is not about conditioning of the mind whatsoever. it is about deconverting and it is about asking questions - questioning everything. it is the religious who have tried to demonize the non believers. i worship nothing but i am full awake in this universe and i adore it.
@hmala to think in terms of logic and reality based on facts , is a useful way to do many things..but in the end, it boils down to seeing is believing..you may not believe in aliens in spaceships for example, because you have no facts or proof of them, but that is not proof that they dont exist, its merely proof that you have not saw proof of them. if one day, it was proven to you that they existed, then you would believe, but until then, you conclude they dont exist..same for god to an athiest
He didn't want to be categorized as anything like humans often do. He believed in human potential rather than looking to the external journey and being like fictional gods we make up. He thought internally that humans are not god but all the light all the inner self of a person is forever apart of the universe apart of the cosmos we were the creators the beginners and their is no end to tyranny, wickedness, religions, etc. unless we change our entire thinking, philosophy around completely.
This a MASTER !!! beyond words ....
