Their music is not the most complicated but it is precise to the T by all band members. They are alot of fun and I think you would enjoy the show, a little volume adds alot to it. not only the singer's voice....the drummer Phil Rudd can only play AC/DC songs. Malcolm, Phil and Cliff provide one of the best rhythm sections even. Angus is Angus and Brian Johnson's voice, although changed, is unique as you said. All tickets sold out months ago for their concerts. I saw them in Charlotte, it's simply the best show I've ever seen. You can't judge only based on the (remastered) records. Also they are in Rock Band 2.
