It is such a shame what happened to Mississippi Queen. We MUST NOT allow this same fate to befall her big sister American Queen (now laid up in Beaumont, TX in the mothball fleet) and her very much older 'sister' Delta Queen (now laid up but still enjoyed as a floating hotel in Chattanooga, TN...where I call home.) The neglect of Mississippi Queen is CRIMINAL! Riverboats helped found cities like St. Louis, Memphis and NOLA. Mississippi Queen was a glorious homage to them!

Makes me sick. All these people with millions of dollars that don't give a crap about our riverboats and the only guy interested in them wants to strip them down for their materials.
