@melscrazy9 Isn't Yasi slightly worse. Has a few k's extra windspeed. It's supposed to be the worst Cyclone to ever have hit Queensland. I feel for Innisfail i really do. So much so that i hope it hits Townsville, where i am, just so they don't get it as bad again!
i went down there like 1 week later or a few days after it and holy crap! it was a mess the wind like burnt the banana trees &+ one of our mates there roof like got ripped off it was pretty sad because the lil boy was like 10 and yea

Great footage Geoff, shame you didn't get there in time. Got the tip of the iceberg in Mareeba where I live, 100kmh winds officially. A few old sheds lost roofs up here. Been there done that before in Townsville with TC Althea Xmas 1971. You guys in Innisfail did not deserve Larry after copping Winifred not so many years ago.
