Because they're a world of lit lamps tonight

  • Take your stinging arguements somewhere else and please allow us enjoy this beautiful song.

  • ustad hashim is the best tabla player ever!!!!!!!!!

  • One more thing. I have realized if anyone can take you far from your deen and hurt your relationship with your creator, it is people like you and other Afghans who have the nerve and the ego to tell other muslims that they are following the wrong path or that they are bad muslims. Maybe I dont know as much about the Quran than you, but i do know one thing. It is wrong to judge other Muslims who you have no knowledge about, only Allah subhana ta'ala can judge me.

  • BROTHER,IF YOU DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT quran,it is o,k aslong as you try to learn about it,here what i think every muslim should do; be honest with your self with your God ,DONT sell YOUR PEOPLE YOUR COUNTRY AND YOUR PRIDE YOUR DIGNITY,TREAT EVERY ONE WITH RESPECT,

  • im a sister...thank you but Im done with all this. peace. salaam. eid mubarak.

  • Is it right to judge non-muslims?

  • Its wrong to judge any human being on earth. Thats not our job. We are all a part of God, when we judge each other, we judge him. Ultimately only God can judge himself. As long as people think their religion is right, children will be dying and brothers will be killing each other over ignorance.

  • Exactly my thoughts :)

  • i also believe what you believe

  • When he sings "Du Chashmay Kafarash Dil Maybara" - he is not literally calling the girl whom he's singing about a 'Kafar'

-he is simply using it in a metaphorical sense in order to illustrate, what he considers to be, the sheer beauty of her eyes which has captivated his mind. He is calling her a 'Kafar', a sinner for the pain she's inflicted on him by stealing his heart-

The song is really beautiful and full of meaning, you just need to look a little deeper

  • @AQJ, I think this song is about Medusa, the Greek godess. I just saw a movie about her a while ago that's why I think so. She was supposed to have eyes that turned people to stone and her hair was made of venomous snakes.

I like this song its very strong and makes me feel good.

    cheers,

    sdsfgsty

  • >rukhash choon maah e taabaan ast emshab

    >bebeen sarkheil e khoobaan ast emshab Her face is like the shining moon tonight Regard how she's the monarch of the beauties tonight

    >do chashm e kaafaarash del meibarad

    >do zulfash maar e peichaan ast emshab

Her two pagan eyes steal the heart

Her two tresses are entwined serpents tonight

  • If I have misquoted anything, I ask God to forgive me, but I dont need your forgiveness, and you dont need to sit here and criticize me for my mistakes unless you think of yourself as such a high power equal to God.

  • God is the truth, ajrahijaan. Truth is God in Sufism, thats why they killed him, because he was indirectly saying he is God I take it umm you dont know much about sufism. And Im very informed of the difference between the two thank you for your concern though.

  • Freshta87, I know enough about sufism to teach you for another 10 years! You have to learn Sufism yourself. The biggest Sufi of all time was our beloved Prophet Mohammad(s). Yet, he never taught what you are telling now. I am not judgding your faith, but I am correcting your misinformation. I care less what you believe in as biggoted and feeble minded as you are. I am happy I don't misquote Qurán and blindly make allegation like others do. please do not address me in your posts.

  • I said I ask God to forgive me for my misquoting, i didnt do it intentionally. I will ask you too: Can you Please forgive me for that. You dont have to answer me. Im done. I will never open a masnawi book again, dont worry. Since I am so misguided, I will do you a favor and take all those books of hafiz, rumi, and rabia in my room, and i will sell them, get rid of them and never read them again. thank you dear brother/sister. eid mubarak to you and your family

  • Dear Fereshta87. I never told you not to keep or read those books. I grew up reading rumi, Hafiz, Sahadi, Sanayee, and Atar Naishapoori. Those are the greatest masterpieces of Farsi language. When i have time, I read them. Our argument errupted on the account of not being clear on the message of Sufism. Anyways, I wish you all the success in this world and in the Hereafter.

  • Can I have your books?

  • Sure :)

  • When, inshALLAh?

  • aya sher in ra dorost fahmidam?? mefahmid in sher az ki ast? mesli ke az Hafez bashad?

  • rokhash chun mahe taban ast emshab

    bebin sartere khuban ast emshab

do chshme kafarash del mebarad, del!

so zolfash mare pechan ast emshab

zolfe o mar ast wa man bemare o ham

kashke yak shab halqa gardad dar gardane bemare ma, do chashme kafarash del mebarad del.Ze morvaride dandanash maporsed: ke yak allam cheraghan ast emshab. Wahid jan zenda bashi - awalinbar in ra didam

  • some one plz add lyrics!!

  • It seems like Fereshta87 believe in Hinduism, not in Sufiism lol lol. Fereshta87, are you really a hidu? If you are just say it, we respect all religions.. LOLs

  • Yeah, it really looks like you do....

  • Come on Fereshta87, give me the address of the verse you said exists in Qurán. YOu said it is written in Qurán that GOD CREATED MEN FROM HIS OWN IMAGE. I want to see where it is written in the Qurán. I am very interested to know that verse. Or maybe you are one of those people who blindly follow and swallow any morsal put in your mouth.

  • Dont you remember the surah about hazrat Musa??? When he was mistreating that man who was praying to Allah (subhana wa'ta'ala) in a strange way? And Hazrat Musa (alaihi wa'salam) yelled at him. and Allah (subhana wa'ta'ala) got upset with him for assuming that mans prayer is wrong. Because every human being has their own connection with God, and it is haraam for you to get in the way of it, or to discourage them or judge them for it. Didnt you learn anything from that surah? Dear brother.

  • she got you lol

  • The Sura about Hazrate Musah, Sura 28 (History)??? You ar meking mestake my sister, what you sogasting is on Al-Masnawy Mavlana Rumi (sangtarash) end (chopan, bath if you mean that it is in Qurane karim so halp me to faind it, Khoda hafez.

"You know its more haraam to make assumptions of who is using the quran correctly and who is not. you do know that right?"

  • Im done, if you dont answer my question, why should I answer yours. My blessings and prayers to you and your family and Eid mubarak, Have a good life inshallah.

    Salaam!!!

  • question? you did'nt give me any question !

  • Dear Fereshta87. Again, such a sura doesn't exist in Qurán. I am very troubled that you quote the Qurán blindly. I urge you to read it first. What you are quoting is from Mathnavi Mahnavi by Rumi, not the Qurán. The poem says: deed musa yak shubani ra ba rah---ko hami guft ay khoda wa ay Allah.

  • Fereshta 87, I stronly urge you to read the Qurán and see if whatyou hear is real or it is just street talk. Please do not swallow everything that people try to feed you. It is very dangerous. That is why Afghans are in such a disarray. They follow whatever they hear instead of checking the facts themselves!!

  • my dear wise sister i am proud of you, You are the cradle of civilisation and gifted " mashaallah" you are great your family and the rest of the wider world is and will be pleased by the tallent and knowledge you have, Barakallah.

  • Me??? thank you dear brother, my blessings go to you and your family, and thank you for your kind words, jazak'allah khair.

    Salaam : )

finally some kind words from a brother.

  • i am sorry everyone i made mistake while typing the word i typed wrongly is most i needed to write it must i am sorry.

  • Dari is the original name of the language. It is derived from Dara, which means Valley in English. The languae was spoken originally by the people who were referred to as people living in a Valley. In his book, the story of civilisation, WillDurant believes that the Valley referred to is Hidukush and it's outerbound valleys and extensions. However, no matter what people say. This is the loveliest language for all of us. peace.

  • great song,

    yak aalam chiraqhanas imshab.

    thanks for posting wahid jan,

  • this is pretty cool

  • is he singing in farsi?

  • its Dari, farsi dialect is a bit diffrent.

Rokhash choon mah e taban ast imshab

Bibeen sar kheyl khooban ast imshab

  • oh i know the difference, i just got confused cuz for a second it sounded pashto. LOL. Thank you beradarjaan. beautiful video.

  • No, it's definitely not Pushto. It's a new language. Invented very recently by a king name Nasrudding. He blended French with Dutch and added a few words of Uzbeki..lol lol

  • he is singing farsi/dari court language of poetry like HARIZ, SAADI its good to see somthing from you its been quite long take care, Allah hafiz.

  • thank you. :)

    salaam

  • Who is Hariz? Never heard of anyone named Hariz...

  • omg. you dont know Hafiz-eh-Shirazi??? No wonder you are being ignorant. no offense. If u want to know about him. let me know . :)

  • No, He is singing in French..lol lol

  • He is singing:

    Rokhash Choon mah-e-taban ast imshab

Bibin sar kheil khooban ast imshab

    Translation:

Oh, I am so hungry. I am very tired and bored. It is snowing and I can't take my dog la la la la la la j/k. It is Dari. The most beautiful and original dialect of the language known as Farsi. By the way, Farsi spoken by Iranians has Pehlawi dialect. It is not as pure and clear as our Dari dialect is.

  • okay, what's the real translation?

  • Thankio for posting i love the song

  • can you more videos upload of them please wahid jon

  • Please MORE VIDEOS UPLOAD OF THEM for our new Shakespeare.. :)

  • what a priceless piece of our music history. Bless you for posting it.

  • great song

  • these singers back then used to sing songs that meant something, But now a days our singers are copying something from someone or somewhere that doesn't match our way of music and they dont mean anything our afghanistan is the only country that we were good in the past but no where anywhere near there now past excellent and present devestated

  • Please Upload the part with Ustad Gul Alam on Dohl and Ustad Malang with Zirbaghali also

  • Gul Alam? Dohl? You must have mistaken Ustad Qasimi with Gul Zaman. It was Gul Zaman who sang with Dohl wa Surnai. Maybe you should Contact Abdul Rahman Hamidi on Ariana TV. He will take care of your problem...lollol

  • I will upload that video soon, Thats was the best part of the concert.

  • Wow, priceless. Thanks for this great video...

  • Amazing, fantastic, masterClass at its best..got the full video and its awesome.Peace be upon you Ustad.

  • simply worlclass..there's no susbtitution for Ustad Yaqub..its God singin in his voice

  • GOD doesn't sing my friend its blassphamy that you said god creats things and humans describes it in many ways either this way or other ways its up to us to decide but god doesn't sing Astaghferullah al Azeem, toba.

  • god is present everywhere..wherever u c beauty hez present..da enthusiasm and da morales u follow all r god himself..y does Allah say i m near to ur jugglar verin??i hope u understand..by singing hez singing as to such a perfect accent it looks as if its god's voice..n dear it music not vulgarity..again i hope u get if not then i cant a hundered more to come up to a logical answer..

  • Kakul83,

no doubt almighty is closer than jugular vein but he doesn't sing its like HAFIZ sherazi said i saw god laughing now what does it suppose to mean he saw almighty no he saw someone being thankful and benefited from gods creation of such beauty that made him realize seeing something pleasant to be responded in appropriate manner.

  • Yes and thats precisely what Kakuljaan is saying. Also when Hafiz-eh Shiraz said "When I am thankful to God, I kiss my own hand." Because Allah subhana ta'ala lives inside him, as he lives inside all his creations. Do you know about the Sufi belief?

  • Fereshta, I see a trend here which should be cleared. What you suggest, I hope I am wrong, is a belief in pantheism. Sufism can be easily mixed up with pantheism if you are not very well versed in it. I say you guys study Islam and the quran very profoundly before you get into sufism; otherwise, you will commit shirk, Astaghfirollah. peace

  • We most not forget the fact that the last prophet of Allah said that my OMAH will be divided into 72 groups and only one group will enter heaven however the remaining 71 will be persecuted one way or another now sufism, Wahabism, Hanafi, Shaafi, Shia, Ahmadi, Hanmbali and so and on i am confused-

  • You must not forget that Hadith is not Saheeh. The source is not clear. It is in contradition with another Hadith that reads: The prophet(PBUH) said that all his Sahaba are like shining stars. Whosoever we follow, will lead to eventual light.

  • i only follow what Allah and his last prophet said i dont care about anything else or anyone else says or do mind you all at the end of the day i am a simple human being i make mistakes "Aaouzo billah e menashshytaner rajeem"

  • wow. Did it not say in the Quran that god created man from his own image? What are we? We are a creation of God, we are a part of him. That is what sufism is. dear brother why dont u started reading Rumi and Hafiz. Have you heard of Mansour Hallaj?

  • Can you give me the address in Qurán where it say GOD CREATED MAN FROM HIM OWN IMAGE? I bet you can't find such a verse. What you are saying is in the Bible, not in the Qurán. You need to know that Qurán and Bible are different books.

  • Yes, I have read about Mansoor Halaj, who was beheaded by saying An-Al-Haq. I understand about Sufism, but we are not part of God. We are God's creation and please don't get Sufism mixed with Pantheism. What you are saying is not Sufism, it is Pantheism and with great regret it is deviation from Islam.

  • Fereshta87! I am still waiting for you to give me the address in Qurán where, as you claim, it says GOD CREATED MEN FROM HIS OWN IMAGE. I have not seen such a verse in Qurán; maybe you can help me find it. Thanks..

  • I couldnt find it, but i heard an Iranian mullah talking about it in his speech. i guess theyre not reliable. sorry about that. But I still disagree with you. Ok so are you saying the great Mansoor Halaj was crazy?? was he doing haraam? Is he burning in hell according to you and your ignorant view towards islam? You dont know what sufism is at all. Im done. salaam. peace. good bye.

  • I knew you wouldn't find that verse. It doesn't exist! I never said Hallaj was a bad person; he was a great sufi and darwesh. I love sufism myself. But what you are saying is not sufism. That is why I tried to correct you. What you said is neither in Islam, nor in sufism. You had best learn about it before you make allegations. Using Qurán incorrectly is not funny. Sufism never says God lives inside HIS creation. That is Pantheism and it is not Islam.

  • really? i thought it was funny mis using the quran. Its so funny, look at how the taliban used it??? wasnt that funny? *sarcasm*.

  • Well, Taliban were also misinformed people like thyself. Had you been in Afghanistan, you would easily fall for the preaching of a few devilish mullas and followsuit their ways..

  • who are you to say I am misinformed? Do people think they are God these days? That you guys judge me like you are Allah, how do you know if Im misinformed, or if i will fall for another preaching. Who are yoU??? What are you??? To say something like that? Astaghfirullah. I never judge people like this.

  • Your efforts to misquote Qurán prove the fact that you are in need of sound and accurate information. At least you need to know the difference between Qurán and Mathnavi Mahnavi. I am sorry to say, but you are misinformed. I appologize if you are offended by my statement.

  • You know its more haraam to make assumptions of who is using the quran correctly and who is not. you do know that right? Everyone gets their own message from the quran. thats whats so beautiful about it. after all it is a big poem. if one person reads a poem they get something else, if another person gets it they get another thing out if it. Its not Pantheism, You didnt answer my question. Was Mansour Hallaj haraam??? He called himself God didnt he??? Why do you think he said that?

  • Mansoor Hallaj did not call himself God. I take it you don't know Arabic. Mansoor said, "Ana Al-Haq" (I am the truth). It is a state of Kamaal that very few people reach to. In that state they see themselves as part of eternal truth or Haq-e-Javidan. Once they see the reality, they find themselves as part of it. Mansoor reached to that level, but could not hide his true feelings. People who reach to that level do not say what they know to everyone.

  • Well done, now explain it to the Ayatollahs and the Saudis.

  • dont forget to tag ustad ghulam nabi on dilruba...
