Whoever that kid was, he seems to have the "Bieber Complexion," so he could've been Bieber's father.
Oh, wait. Jeremy was born in about '74, and YCDTOTV aired new episodes from '81 to '90, so if it wasn't Alasdair, or Alasdair was an old name before a name change, he could easily be him. (They all ARE from Canada, after all.)
@TheBeatlesReturn2011 - It's an adaptation of the show's original font that I created just for this special, using images from the end credits of several episodes. Unfortunately, this particular font does not exist in a True Type format.
Marjorie is unbelievably hot! She was a good-looking kid too. I always preferred her to Christine or any other girl.
This was enjoyable, though not nearly as enjoyable as an old episode. It seems strange without Les Lye and Abby Hagyard, not to mention a few more "kids" in various skits. Vanessa turning out the lights has been done at the end of other comedy series, notably Three's Company. The whole thing was sad, yet enjoyable. What does nature/God have against us going back? RIP Les Lye
You know after watching that i gotta say i'm really happy i was able to watch YCDTOTV back in the 80s. It was refreshing to be a kid again. After 20 years i felt closure so thanks to all who put this final episode together.
Laughed hard at the big bird celebrity roast - this humor defined YCDTOTV - and the slime/pies/water of course - I have a soft spot for slapstick humor. :D
Too bad it truly is the end of an era. I grew up watching this show and still miss it. Sad that more of the old cast members didn't show up for one last time around the set. Not bad considering you only could get three members to do a full show there. Thanks for the memories and one last go around.
Miss this show. Wish they could do a larger reunion. Shouldn't be too hard now that there's facebook, twitter, and all those other social networks. Sure was quality programming. R.I.P. Les Lye.
OH...speaking of lewd words...or obscene or whatever (circa 09:21)...there is a certain school wherein...in the past...the curse words were handed out, and detailed, to the students. By the way, this literally was one day out of the year for each grade in the school

Wow, i can't believe i used to like this show. You can only laugh at bad acting for so long. Should have left this where it belonged, in my adolescent memory.
For such a low budget show, they don't realize how much it meant to so many people, and how many people still miss the show. He should've given it one *last* go. It was the final time, after all, even if he's got a life outside that 'world' now. All grown up, yeah. But one last go would've meant a lot to me, personally. Disappointed, but I'm glad I got to see it at least.

if the royalty situation is the case for stopping the DVD's from getting to market, all they have to do is work it into the price of the DVD. That is the best I have ever seen that lady look. Almost had a little side boob on that clip.

eh... they should do a real send off/retrospect episode with all of the old cast even Alanis Morriset it was an ensamble cast that made the show what it was. The locker room scene was almost painful with just the two of them.
