  • Actually I don't know how much they were paid/episode.

  • h193013 yes they were.

  • were the kids really paid that little in real life

  • This brings back memories. I loved watching this show.

  • this is the best kids show past present and future.

  • Was Vanessa pregnant?

  • Moose was always my favorite.

  • It aired from 1979 to 1990

  • CUE... card? What IS a "cue card?"

Oh, wait! This was what they used before TELEPROMPTERS!

  • Too bad Moose wasn't there she was my favorite. This was a cute reunion though. YCDTOTV was my fave show growing up. Used to watch it all the time.

  • the good old days. this was one of the shows that really miss

  • I'm kinda sad that we can't have anymore!!

  • I second that. I love that end credit music. Nice to see this. Wish they would release the whole series on DVD already!

  • I love the remix of the theme song

  • I absolutely LOVED Alisdair

  • @eightiesgal1969 Was he the guy on 11:32?

Whoever that kid was, he seems to have the "Bieber Complexion," so he could've been Bieber's father.

Oh, wait. Jeremy was born in about '74, and YCDTOTV aired new episodes from '81 to '90, so if it wasn't Alasdair, or Alasdair was an old name before a name change, he could easily be him. (They all ARE from Canada, after all.)

  • AT 20:18 WHAT FONT ON THE YCDTOTV?

  • @TheBeatlesReturn2011 - It's an adaptation of the show's original font that I created just for this special, using images from the end credits of several episodes. Unfortunately, this particular font does not exist in a True Type format.

  • @dndfilms can you make the font into a true type file? i want to use it in a ycdtotv remake i'm making

  • can u post the ending credit music?

  • Some of the coolest kids tv shows unfortunately don't come along every day. But this was one of them! I don't know (slime falls......)

  • 22:00 this is a very sad ending.

  • the mother reminded me of edith bunker LOL

  • The script critics in the final scene were Alasdair Gillis and Justin Cammy.

  • At the final scenes, who was that complaining about the scripts?

  • Brodie's changed a lot since he was a kid. :)

  • Marjorie is unbelievably hot! She was a good-looking kid too. I always preferred her to Christine or any other girl.

This was enjoyable, though not nearly as enjoyable as an old episode. It seems strange without Les Lye and Abby Hagyard, not to mention a few more "kids" in various skits. Vanessa turning out the lights has been done at the end of other comedy series, notably Three's Company. The whole thing was sad, yet enjoyable. What does nature/God have against us going back? RIP Les Lye

  • You know after watching that i gotta say i'm really happy i was able to watch YCDTOTV back in the 80s. It was refreshing to be a kid again. After 20 years i felt closure so thanks to all who put this final episode together.

  • Slime oh beautiful green slime i have missed you!

  • Laughed hard at the big bird celebrity roast - this humor defined YCDTOTV - and the slime/pies/water of course - I have a soft spot for slapstick humor. :D

  • They need to release this show on dvd.

  • Too bad it truly is the end of an era. I grew up watching this show and still miss it. Sad that more of the old cast members didn't show up for one last time around the set. Not bad considering you only could get three members to do a full show there. Thanks for the memories and one last go around.

  • Miss this show. Wish they could do a larger reunion. Shouldn't be too hard now that there's facebook, twitter, and all those other social networks. Sure was quality programming. R.I.P. Les Lye.

  • I loved the berries part. lmao

  • I could have used a little more water on Marjorie...enjoyed that part. (*wink*) ;)

  • I with roody david lee roth rocks but this show is awesome

  • OH...speaking of lewd words...or obscene or whatever (circa 09:21)...there is a certain school wherein...in the past...the curse words were handed out, and detailed, to the students. By the way, this literally was one day out of the year for each grade in the school

  • The show was great.

  • what episode is the CREME DE PEANUT commercial from?

  • @muffystjohn86 The Creme De Peanut commercial was from the Commercials episode. :)

  • in this episode Vanessa is pregnant

  • cute, I wish Nick would air repeats. I wish they could have picked this up too. Very nice to see some of the same people grown up now. Pretty cool.

  • This did not have to have happened, but oh well,,, i want to see the whole panel discussion...

  • The original stuff was funny/entertaining, but what the hell was with that new bunch of clowns? Those new people made the kids from the original show look like Brando.

  • new bunch of kids?! these are the original kids, dippy.

  • Oh, yeah. I do recognize the blonde girl. Thanks, dickfer.

  • yer welcome, turdsanwich.

  • I think you meant turd sandwich, dippy. You're from NC, so I guess spelling is not your strong suit.

  • speak for yourself---you're the one trying to analyze this video....sheesh

  • Analyzing? I made a simple comment, there's no analyzing at all.

  • You like arguing, huh? The problem is arguing over the Internet is like running in the Special Olympics: even if you win, you're still retarded.

  • No, it's like any other arguing...if you're right, you win. As for your Special Olympics joke, not very original.

  • ugh bring this back!

  • Did any of us realize the teach had a Hitler mustache when we were kids?

  • Moose: Hey Lisa, did you hear Les Lye died?

Lisa: Les Lye died? How tragic.

Moose: Yeah, they didnt have a normal funeral, they didnt even bury the body.

Lisa: Really, so what did they do with the body?

Moose: What do you think is in the burgers?

Sorry couldnt help myself. R.I.P. Les Lye

  • lmfao. Les would have been proud of that.

  • Jill Stanley she was notorious for forgetting her lines.

  • RIP Les Lye.

  • aw man, i didnt know les had died..... I really hate to hear that, he was so funny. very talented man

  • Les died in July of natural causes.

  • Much sadness to hear Les Lye passed on. What a fantastic guy for this show.

Vanessa is indeed pregnant in this production.

Whew, Marjorie. Hot, indeed. *fans self*

  • Is vanessa pregnant?

  • Didn't know Les Lye just died last week. He was great on this show.

    Holy Christ, look at Marjorie!!!

  • This is so so so cool!

    RIP Les Lye :(

  • Oh god, the 'Hero Cereal' bit cracks me up big time. Especially that final 'whack'. ;)

  • Creme de Peanut..LOL

  • I always had a big crush on Marjorie, but HOLY GOD she grew up well. Wow wow wow wow wow!

  • Me too. She was cute, but she is now a full blown HOTTIE!!!

  • Les Lye passed away yesterday. He was the adult in the show. RIP Les!!

  • D'uh....I HEARD THAT!! (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)

  • They really should have done a proper sendoff for this show.

  • I always wondered what the slime was made of. It must've been something tasty, because nobody seemed to mind if they got it in their mouths.

  • I would love to go to a slimecon, i grew up watching this show, i had a crush on Marjorie, and from what i see here....i still do...:)

  • well that suuuuuuuuuuuckeddddd

  • For such a low budget show, they don't realize how much it meant to so many people, and how many people still miss the show. He should've given it one *last* go. It was the final time, after all, even if he's got a life outside that 'world' now. All grown up, yeah. But one last go would've meant a lot to me, personally. Disappointed, but I'm glad I got to see it at least.

  • okay... EPIC disappointment! Some random highschool kids, born in like, the mid 1990's probably DID write the script. And yeah, Alaidster shoulda been in it. (In more than just the ending).

  • 12:20 was that Abby? I didn't realize how hot she was!!!!

  • acid smear pants were such a terrible idea. I'm glad they didn't last too long.

  • I love the new intro music!

  • This was the worst show ever! I never watched it ever!...or this is just the introduction to the opposite comments!....LOL!!!

  • Oh, my God - well I'm glad someone posted this video cause I haven't seen it before - Marjorie Silcoff was so cute back in the '80's, and now look at her! She's hot!

  • Memories...

    *sniffles*

  • Man, this brings back memories.

I really wish they'd release this series on DVD in the states.

  • Adam looks like a John Cusack, and talks like a young Jonathan Brandis.

  • Marjorie has some nice cans! Vanessa looks like shes pretty curvy also.

  • Vanessa may be preggos in this?

  • this was back in 2004, and i guess she was pregnant.

  • That was Kevin Kubusheskie as the security guard, wasn't it? OMG, I had a major crush on him when I was like 6 years old. lol

  • This was fantastic, but a little depressing. When Vanessa turned off the light, I had to wipe a tear from my eye.

    And Van's preggers here?

  • This is the real special, right? Also, love the techno remix of the theme. "I DON'T KNOW!" *slime falls on head (fake)*

  • Dang that chick is hot now.

  • Alanis Morrisette was on You Can't Do That On Television before she started her singinig career.

  • so many memories and this was a great show as well and what a show this was to it was great

  • We know that Marjorie never got slimed.

  • WE GOT THE CUE CARDS MIXED UP!!!! lol!!!

  • i loved this show I'm 34 now it brings back such good memories

  • Same here. :)

  • @STUDIO69BOYZ I was 5 when the last episode was produced. Looking through innocent eyes, I would have NEVER imagined what you see at 6:28 would look like. But it looks like he was drenched full of... (truncated.)

  • I know. I sound like a idiot. I just want Nickelodeon to put these old shows back on, and I wanted to know if anyone else wanted to. Comment on my profile if you want the old shows back.

  • I want them back, I want them back!!

I would happily watch these all again.. love em!!

  • Can you say, 'Not fracking likely?' This is one reason why one should record the shows when they're being shown or rerun.

  • wtf?

  • Let the WAR BEGIN! NICK VS US KIDS AND ADULTS!!!! TO BRING THESE SHOWS BACK ON THE AIR! COMMENT ON MY PROFILE IF YOU ARE WITH ME!

    (no offense Nickelodeon)

  • FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!

    being it back!

  • MAN I miss this stuff

  • man this show birng back memories

  • so many memories!!!!!!

  • So from what the girls were talking about during this bit; they had to take the "Firing Squad" sketch out in 1987???? interesting, i always thought that sketch was very funny; that and the church ones too. YCDTOT was such a funny show!!

  • The cue cards bit is funny.

  • if the royalty situation is the case for stopping the DVD's from getting to market, all they have to do is work it into the price of the DVD. I imagine those would be some very hefty pay sums, but then again this series could probably be released into syndication big time which could pave the way for DVD's seasons to come out. of course that is my theory and I could be wrong :)

  • was the blonde one pregnant? i noticed her buldging belly and i was just wondering

  • Yeah, Vanessa was pregnant at the time.

  • Alanis was on Howard today I think.

  • I only seem to vaguely remember this show,I think I saw it maybe once or twice but,I understand Alanis was in this show at a younger age.are there clips of her in this ?

  • Truly one of the best shows ever!! Sure miss it. Why doesn't nickelodeon or whoever has the rights to this show get it onto dvd for crap sakes!!!

  • Too many royalties, rights, etcetera...

  • the simple fact there was over 100 kids that did these episodes ... itd be next to impossible to accurately calculate the royalties

  • Wow, I did not know there was a 25th anny special. Thx for posting!!!

  • Good God, i LOVED this show!!!!! i don't think the dvds of YCDTOT will ever be put out :( but Thank You soooooooo much for posting this!

  • Marjorie got HOT!!! lol

  • haha whack! now stop making that noise with ur food and eat it lol dat shit wuz so funny.

  • and the mother still has her rubber gloves on...

  • I'm really missing this show wishing the show was still on so I can show my kids. So I guess I'm going to have to settle for showing them on YouTube!

  • i love this show to win is this cameing out on dvd ? paces let me know pleac

  • Oh how I miss this show. I forgot the teacher had a Hitler stache. Thank god for torrents. Green Slime shouldn't cost you one red cent. But I'd happily pay for several copies if this ever comes out on DVD. How I miss this... and The State... but one thing at a time ;)

  • Hi There, You can always watch our show while you wait for it to come out on DVD.

  • I just have. Great stuff, and great talent from you kids.

  • how did they put a video up that is 22:34 mins long

    thought the limit was 10min?

  • You can put up any length really as long as it has a 100 MB limit

  • I loved the 'Introduction to the Opposites' episodes. I miss this show!

  • The opposite sketch's were like dream's come true for kid's..I could never understand why my parents thought a different way,was better for me?

  • Ohhhhh....Marjorie is so tight and smokin' hot!!!

  • And people still wish she could have been slimed once. "The one that got away"

  • LOL. Yeah, she mosdef needs a good sliming!

  • LMAO...THE spitting NAZI....LOL I remember now...LOL

Thanks dndfilms.. You brang me back ..

  • OMG I used to love this show.. It was like l.s.d for kids.. Ross(main guy) & Allister made the show..Christine did her part, but mostly she was along for the ride(just like the rest)..

Alanis I loved you most though baby :)

  • Loved this show. Thanks for the post.

  • Wow...I loved this show!!! Thanks for adding it!!!

  • allisdar is still a lil hottie!

  • Yeah I wish Christine had been able to do it, and Lisa and Alastair. Well, everyone! If only Alanis would do it, haha. I wish Nick/viacom would hurry up with the DVD!

  • Two word as to why it won't be on DVD (already mentioned): Royalty payments.

  • That was like seeing old friends again. Thanks for posting. That was my favorite show growing up. I wish there could be a You Can't Do That For TV with the original cast for us 30-40 somethings.

  • nah this was better.

  • they should totally , do that . i say get a petition ready and let's go!

  • I'll sign. Let me know when it's ready.

  • It was a shame Les Lye couldn't make it for this.

  • I miss this show so much I wish I could find the DVD's if they even make them for this show

  • Sadly they don't make them for DVD.

  • Where are the DVDs!!!! I want them!!!!

  • yep this show soo cool and did bring a cool thing

  • No Christine McGlade :( Guess she had other things to do

  • She had a scheduling conflict.

  • yeah they sould release this on dvd or sell it on itunes

  • they are going to do that in the next com of mouth so i haerd

  • they should release this on DVD!

  • this program was a way of life growing up. good memories.

  • YCDTOT was to kids shows what the Sex Pistols were to pop music. I'm not surprised people remember it...I do, it was quite twisted and fun. and, yeah...Moose was a babe.

  • Even though Nickelodeon has the Nick At Nite programming and Nicktoons, it's time for Nick Classic!

  • Wow :)!! I didn't even know this skit existed! Didn't Marjorie turn into a beautiful woman or what? Vanessa's not half bad either... Anyway, I sure wish there was a way to resurrect this show because a lot of the stuff we have now while pretty good, isn't creative like this show was. I'm 39 now and I sure miss this show.

  • Hey, let's get one thing straight... NOTHING today is pretty good. today, the networks are afraid to piss people off or freak them out. Man, I feel old saying this, but I miss the 80's!!!

  • Seeing these clips just blows my mind! I am 39yr now and seeing them makes it seem like just yesterday I was enjoying this show. I had forgotten all about it and about all the characters. Boy do I feel old.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • It's hard telling my kids about how little programming Nickelodeon had back in the 80's when there's so much on the channel now. Heck...when I first got cable back in '83, Nick was only on the air from 5AM to around 7PM in my area. So much has changed, but this will always be one of my all time favorite shows. LONG LIVE THE 80'S!!!!

  • you cant do that on film will be cool

  • Oh man, it is so great to see at least a few cast members back together this show is what, along with Transformers and G.I. Joe, made the 80's so frieaking awesome!!!!!!!

  • That was great

  • Van's preg! I wonder if Kevin is the father.

  • Wow... Marjorie looks terrific!

  • Is there any chance of you guys

puting up You Still Can't do that in Television and How'd This Get OnLine?

I'd love to see those cartoons again!

I wish you'd put Project 131 on DVD!

  • Adam I remember was really popular! He had a good voice!

  • Its nice to see this program uploaded here. I miss this show.

  • Vanessa looks the same! Marjorie got HOT!

  • creme de peanut... omg...

  • That is the best I have ever seen that lady look. Almost had a little side boob on that clip.

  • eh... they should do a real send off/retrospect episode with all of the old cast even Alanis Morriset it was an ensamble cast that made the show what it was. The locker room scene was almost painful with just the two of them.

  • They could only get so many people together to do the show I suppose.
