please help i use redsn0w and i tried to boot my ipod on again. @myswaggondhatt I downgraded my iPod to 4.1 cuz when I first successfully jailbroken my iPod it had the 4.1 firmware, so I think it's gonna work :D It's worth the try if u wanna kill ur boredom with some iPod apps :)

The new RedSn0w doesn't work for iPod Touch 2G MC's. It says "This version of RedSn0w does not support the iPod Touch 2G MC model yet. Check back again soon!"

use 'safari' to download the firmware, because it automatically saves it as .ipsw file unlike firefox and internet explorer

@Awkley1 It means you do not have any .ipsw file where you are trying to browse it from. Try to download the .ipsw file at your desktop and from there pull up the file but you have to have itunes as a program.
