The upload speed on virgin is horrible indeed, i think its like 2 or 3 % of your bandwidth or something like that, and thats not the worst of it, if you upload/download too much they cap you do its even slower >:(

Here is a suggestion for your next videos.

I always see you in front of the camera, why not try the camera for once from the side... so you might get a more active posture. The light is good, but when you move the camera to your left, so that the light wil come from the right. It might be becoming a more interactive setting somehow(I think).

The only disadvantage is that we see some more of your room, and you may need cleaning it more often :P

My criticism would be that your videos are often too long. I think that you don't worry about time because you are a partner. But, still I think you should think about keeping your vids within a 9-10 minute limit. Most people don't have the attention span to watch a 17 minute video of you just talking. Not trying to be mean.

I couldn't agree more. Your videos tend to be TOO long. I mean they are simply your opinion which is great to hear but there is only so much i or anyone could focus on for so long.

Point in case: this video! You said that you couldn't upload 1080p videos, then you went on about buying a 1080p camera, internet being slow for other ppl etc etc etc... Try to keep it as SHORT and to the point as possible.

I think quality is OK. And the MacBook mike is brilliant. Far better than I thought it would be. I think if you want honest feedback, you make your videos too long. Over 10 mins is way too much. You could become a master video editor! :P

They can't do this since MPAA states that it is illegal to make even 1 copy of a DVD. You can do it from the Digital Copy's that come with Blu-Ray and some normal DVD's.

Start the video upload right before you go to sleep. Leave ur computer on. No problem, even if its 25 m vid, it will upload over night. thats what I do.

Video (and sound) quality is fine bro, you had a great bunch of videos this year.

I just suggest making more sort of 'freestyle' videos and less somewhat scripted stuff.

Editing could be improved a little bit (so things don't trail) but they're fine generally.

As for reviews it's fine, quality over quantity you know.

Personally I like these things to be as interactive as possible. Its a shame we can't have more people posting video responses etc to increase the interaction.

I also wish there was a way for you to have an opinion poll alongside each of your videos related to that video. That way you could ask us all a question via the poll and it would give you something to talk about in the next video. Maybe you could set up the poll on an external website and link to it in the info box.

FYI Im on Sky's max broadband and it doesn't take long to upload a ten minute video on the "large" setting. Its like 10-20 minutes. So I guess uploading a HD vid would be about an hour. It just a consideration if your thinking of switching to Sky. If you have TV and phone with them its very little additional cost. Plus I'm still able to browse Safari while iMovie is uploading without it seeming to lag.
