  • fire..jars?

  • oh yeah FIRE JARS!

  • i wonder if how i van immobilize justin beiber?

  • FIREJARS!

  • Holy shit now I gotta round up some strays

  • I don't know why but i couldn't stop laughing.... And yes, I came from fire jars

  • What is this witchcraft? And why did I get here from flaming jars and plasma?

  • would never work on puss in boots..

  • i know an easier way. Break its fucking legs!!!

  • Ill remember this next time that cat gang comes rolling through, then we'll see the real, pussies, are!

  • COOL!!!

  • THANKS! Now I can pet my cat.

  • It feels it must be submissive when thats placed on since it thinks she`s its mother.

  • best part is, it's just the skin being pinched... it's a reflex that is "built" into cats.. that's how mothers transport the young to safety in the event of an emergency. Just like the way you hold your breath under water.. you don't think about it... you just do it. The cat reacts in the same way.. but, intead of holding it's breath, it just sits there.. waiting to be let go.

  • How the hell did I get here from a video about fire jars???

  • @maraviclin You too?

  • @maraviclin youtube has mysterious properties

  • @maraviclin haha im with you on that fire jars to cats???

  • Cats do that because the back of the neck is where a mother cat will bite to transport her babies, so this cat stopped moving to make it easier for the mother to move her.

  • THE FUCK, HOW DO I GET THERE FROM A PLASMA VIDEOS

  • @CookiezEater same

  • el gato debe estar... WHAT DA FUQ... QUE CLASE DE BRUJERÍA ES ESTA XD

  • The look on the cat's eyes at 0:20 is like "Bitch I will KILL you if you don't take this thing off the back of my neck! And even if you do, I'm still going to wreak a horrible vengeance on all of mankind!"

  • That cat is like "Whoa dude.... Wtf."

  • How does this work?

  • @n9athan the way it works is that there is a vein there. so it doenst let blood flow and it could kill the cat in 2 minutes..reply back and tell me if i was helpful k

  • @haloreach7 No, that is not true at all. There is no vein there.

  • @ToasterAthiesm I know I was just fuckin around wit tha guy lol

  • will this work with a nyan cat?

  • To any idiot who thinks this is cruel: Put a clip on the loose skin on your elbow. You won't feel anything. That is how much it hurts a cat.

  • @m3tallic PLUS, they have fur to spread out the pressure. AND, it's common for kittens to be carried around by their parents by their neck :)

  • Pictures of mother cats carrying its kittens by its scruff are everywhere, i wonder why most of the population of earth havent noticed that. Try putting that paper clip with a LARGE surface area on your skin, it barely hurts. If its a paper clip with a SMALLER surface area then its a different story

  • Cat: No, im not staying here, ive heard about what you do, i saw those needles, and those meds are nasty. Im getting outta here. Hey hey hey! what are you do-

    *Puts clamp on*

cat: Ohhhhh..... ok..... i'll... i'll stay here a while.... alright.. huh... this is oddly fimiliar......

  • Are you crazy!?!? How could you do this to the poor paper clip!?! This is complete and utter abuse! paper clips have feelings too!!1!1!! guys I mean HOW are you even watching such horror! I can't even..whatever

  • Are you guys nuts?! Think of what you're doing to that poor binder clip!! The cat could seriously hurt him!

Seriously... Just stop. The only reason why the cat froze was because when cats were young that was how their mother picked them up. So he froze on instinct. In no way is he injured and besides I'm pretty sure a VET would know what he or she is doing. They had done so much more serious studies then you guys so please just chill out.

  • Curse You Human!!! You Hurt Da Cat!!!

  • @poodles602 This doesnt hurt the cat -_- This is almost same as when the cat grabs the kittens by the neck. Dont you know anything about cats?

  • That's what we should do to all the politicians. ;)

  • What is the name of this device?

  • I'm not saying it is hurting the cat... I'm just pointing out that after a certain age it isn't a particularly wise thing to do...

  • that cats like,"aw shit, now i'm frozen..."

  • That's funny. It's obviously not hurting the cat... You are all retarded rofl.

  • @heartceci Quit freaking out. I love Nathan.

  • Its a fucking vet for gods sake. Im sure that the owner wouldnt pay a £54678912376498263409182634918236409802183478529 vet bill for the VET to damage the spinal cord.

Chill the fuck out. when its a newborn or a kitten how the fuck do you think the mother would carry it in the wild? On a fucking flying carpet?!

    Closed minded ass-rings

  • @YamJamSamHam Exactly when you the owner want to pick up your little kitty that's the safest way to handle it because of its fragile bones :)

  • Stop doing that. You are damaging the spine.

  • @Gunner3210 no there not 1 the person doing it is a vet 2 its only grabbing skin 3 thats how mother cats pick up there kittens to move them around

  • maybe it's thinking that its mother is holding him

  • Oh my gush!!

  • @heartceci ME

  • poor nate

  • It's extremely loose skin that is used by their mothers for picking them up. Just like cats. Put the clip on the extra skin on your elbow when it is straightened out. That's how it feels to them. You can't even feel it.

  • @dropdeadkiera i totally tried this, just to see what it feels like lol, almost no pain at all and i imagine that even with teeth it wouldnt hurt much more.

  • @katmatally cats-and dogs-automatically stiffen when their scruff is held. It's not in pain. Proise

  • love everyones little breakdown when @ahoynateo commented :')

  • I wanna do this to my cat so she will sit still while I pet her ^^

  • Holy fuck.... XDDD

as long as it wasnt hurt...

  • @TheAmberitto na It just instictively goes limp when its mother holds it like that.

  • I've dealt with cats. I'm a firm believer in animal rights and if you think the cat is being treated in a inhumane way you're a fucking idiot. I have in fact (when I'm bored out of my mind) put those clips on my body, even my bottom lip. It doesn't hurt and there aren't really sensitive nerves in the scruff of animals because of animals being carried that way from birth. My sister's cat was much more rough on her babies than that. And might I remind you animals sometimes eat their young.

  • To all of yinz that say "this is what vets do" they don't do it with paper clamps. A paper clamp, if left on long enough to do an operation, would deprive the skin of bloodflow and injure the cat's skin. Besides which, cats are anesthetized during operations and are otherwise restrained. I worked in an animal hospital and never saw a paper clamp used.

This was probably shot at the vet's office "after hours" when the docs weren't around.

  • my kitten doesn't do this.):

  • @heartceci

    CAUSE HE'S FUCKING NATHAN ♥

  • SHEER AWESOMENESS.

  • thats kinda sad but i know how that works and that doesnt work on my cat

  • I know what to use during bath time!!!!!

  • I like how omgcat came out after the video was over in the featured videos. :)

  • Amazing(:

  • its like an on/off switch! XD

  • Thats pretty cute in a odd way

  • hahaah the cats just like "duh fuck kinda sorcery is this?!?!?!" XD

  • I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING LOL

  • I usually use my hand but hey.. a clamp works nicely too xD

  • As soon as Nathan commented this, the other comments just went crazy oO

  • @Lucifaxx ikr

  • read the comment above you!

  • how about if i do this to you you fucking crackers

  • now I know what to do if I'm chased by a lion or puma :P

  • once he took it off "holy crap what happend" walks away X)

  • yes finaly i can stop the nyan cat!

  • what the fuuuuuuuckkkk???

  • nice but i pull my cat to the air

  • lol turning on/off a cat

  • didn't work on my cat

  • Dear SOB, if you worked in my veterinary office, you'd get fired and referred to a psychiatrist.

Vets and vet techs who are responsible don't clamp a cat's neck fold. They hold it firmly in their FINGERS, but don't squash the skin in a freaking CLAMP.

This clamp is for use on papers, not living animals, YOU IDIOT.

  • @katmatally abloobloobloo. I'm fairly certain the cat would have flipped shit as soon as the clamp was removed if it was painful. grow a thicker skin you titanic crybaby, seriously.

  • @zomgerln grow a thicker skin yourself -- maybe then I can immobilize YOU with a clamp on your neck you titanic a'hole.

  • @katmatally clearly the cat is not in any pain. chill out

  • @ahoynateo exactly!!! They wouldn't put it on youtube if it hurt the cat otherwise they would get bombarded by PETA and omg hi nathan!!!! :3 I'm a huge desandnate fan ^_^

  • @ahoynateo I LOVE YOU NATHAN!

  • @TheSkittlesgorawr i love him more :3

  • @TheSkittlesgorawr

    lol. TOTALLY RELEVANT.

  • @ahoynateo you make my dick hard... no homo

  • @ahoynateo Nathan <3

  • @ahoynateo It's true dude, people over react these days.

  • @ahoynateo OMFG ITS NATE

  • @ahoynateo

    YOUSZ HAWT.

  • @ahoynateo it doesnt surprise me tht u wuld look up how to imobilize a cat on youtube. i watch ur videos alll the time.....nd i love u..... ;) creepin

  • @katmatally calm down bro if that cat was in pain then you would see it moving like its in pain. cants dont just go still like that when in pain, thats an instinct they were born with that carries on to adulthood. and i've seen vets do that everywhere so dont say that they cant or shouldnt do that cuz your wrong. vets do that so they can use both hands while operating. so if your gonna start protesting for animal rights or something, then learn your facts before doing so.

  • @katmatally Your a fucking idiot, it's obliviously not hurting the little bastard.

  • @tomyo75 Yeah, I can tell you really care about animals from the way you refer to them. As for your reference to my intelligence, right back atcha.

  • @katmatally I love cats with passion, I hate when people are over protective to them. The cat is not dying.

  • Does it hurt?

  • this is disgusting

  • @letudownbetch

they're vets, they need to keep the cat still and this works best

  • this doesnt work on me...

  • @danjbateman Maybe because you're not a cat? :)

  • Now I know how I'll make my business. "Catstopper"... Sounds great.

  • i want a cat now :(

  • that happens because when young, mothers will pinch the back of the neck of their young to either move them or make them stop whatever they´re doing...worls with most mammals, cats, rats, dogs, etc

  • Comment removed

  • MS. NORRIS???

  • =)))))))))

  • RSPCA you cruel fucks

  • Kitteh.exe has froze. Press OK to terminate application

  • As long as you don't use a powerful clamp, it won't harm the cat. Mother cats pick their kittens up by the scruff of the neck, and kittens instinctively go limp in response to make it easier for the mother to move them. That instinct carries on into adulthood, which is why the cat stops moving when its scruff is clamped.

However, it still doesn't seem very nice to trick a poor cat, so maybe just leave it up to the vets.

  • já!!! a wuevo!!!!

  • COMO INMOVILIZAR UN GATO! #JAJAJA

  • he looks like hes dead

  • i love how to cats expression goes from:"kitteh powering off..." to "oh hey,sup man."

  • 削除を希望します。動物虐待に悪用される事を心配しています。

I would appreciate it if you could delete this movie.

I'm afraid that it promotes cruelty to animals

  • @Msgattogatto get a life.

  • @Msgattogatto You need to tell YouTube, not the uploader. There's a way to do it in the "dislike" portion.

  • 動物虐待を助長する恐れがあるので、削除頂けたらと願います。

Because it may encourage animal abuse, please delete

  • ok, so I have a cat who's temperamental and it's really difficult for me to clip her nails....if I did this would she really stay still to the point where I WILL be able to clip her nails?

  • wow... xD

  • i can change the firmware of my dog and change the ringtones of my guinea pig

  • lolwut

  • Some of these type clips are very strong and would hurt the cat. If you do this, make sure that the clamping power is not excessive. It varies from clip to clip and by brand, age and how stretched it is matter too. The idiots who made this video without any warnings or explanations are just that, idiots.

  • @gary7vn these people are not idiots, the guy is a vet

  • @SuperNoobdude He could just be a vet tech, amusing himself after hours. Don't assume.

  • @gary7vn THANK YOU. This clamp is very strong, and has sharp edges. Nothing's even cushioned. I could maybe see a weaker version with rolled edges and cushions inside, but using this kind is just mean.

  • Охренеть!

  • these videos scare me... It seem like animal abuse, but I know that there must be a scientific and good reason to do that...

  • @WUNJIO it's the way their mother carries them, it's like a reflex

  • @britaiin wow, I didn't thought it: I perfectly know how the mother carries the little ones, but I didn't thought it was this thing!!... now the thing becomes very interesting instead of scaring... thanks for the explanation! :)

  • @WUNJIO you're welcome :D

  • @WUNJIO It's because it is an animals nature to freeze when its scruff is grasped like that, you ever seen those videos when animals mothers carry them in her mouth? That's where she carrys them

  • @pionfax1 Uh, yeah, except the mother cat's grasp is gentler. If they gripped as tightly as this clamp, there'd be kittens all over the place with bad puncture wounds.

  • not to handy...how about how to immobilize a pitbull?

  • Меня завораживает это видео ))

  • this person around my area lost a cat.. now i know how to catch it :D

  • Now try that on the back of her neck with the appropriately lager size binder clip and see ho she likes it ?

  • @MaineShag55 Thats how cats are.. Thats how they are born.. How do you think the mother carries her babies? From the back of the neck.. Its completely natural, and barely hurts them at all... if it hurt them, they wouldn't be so still now would they..

  • @MaineShag55 Bingo, and THANK YOU

  • does it work on lions...just saying

  • @TheZakoo7 probably just need a bigger binding clip

  • Hello everyone

i did the same with my cat and it worked

    /watch?v=5XKkJgQiSoQ

    Please Thumbs up ^.^

  • Now I can play kickball without it running around.

  • how do people kno that its not painful for da cat even if they do think its from their mother? like human mothers sometimes hits their kid for discipline n we all turn quiet but it still hurts lyk hell....... >_> (im just being stupid here so nobody needs to call me an idiot)

  • @808ASIANKID808 OMG YOU IDIOT OLLOLOLOLOLLOOLOLO

  • @808ASIANKID808 If it were painful I'm pretty sure little kitty would let you know once it was loose. Cats aren't known to be very passive while experiencing any discomfort.

  • its not like its stopping any blood or anything its just a respons from childhood that how mothers carry kittens (but with their teeth)

  • ввиууу

  • People who are saying "omg poor kitty" are uneducated. Mother kitties carry them around with what my family and I call "mom flap". This kitty is in no pain, he thinks his mother is picking him up and/or punishing him. Mother cats also do this when thier kittens are running around too much XD

  • @catmenrulz Yeah, except if a mother cat gripped her kitten as hard as that binder cliip, she'd puncture the skin.

  • @katmatally you should be fucking honored ahoynateo just talked to you!!!!!!

    omfg so jealous!!!

  • @EatZombiesOnRainbows Nate's not some kind of god or anything. He probably doesnt comment on videos very often cuz then a bunch of obsessed fans like you freak out.

  • @EatZombiesOnRainbows Oh and if you want to say 'Fuck you' to me, be real and do it in front of the other commenters. Eat shit.

  • @katmatally your a spastic

  • DOES IT HURT T______T

  • @scoobiegalz no cats have a really stretchy layer of skin there because when theyre baby cats thats how their mother carries them

  • @chunchoe Wha. Then I guess it's alright :D haha.

  • @scoobiegalz

No, remember, mom cats carry their young by the neck WITH THEIR TEETH. So the cat is fine. :3

  • poor cat !!!

  • They should invent something similar for humans.

  • Sooooooo The Clip is crack

  • Very good! ;)

  • that's a huge cat

  • wow now i got a trick when i brush my cats i gotta remember this trick thankx random guy

  • hes all like sorry i lagged

  • do any of you realize that the cat is very big?

  • The cat's neck is hurt very much! What are you doing? It's not fun!!!
