  • While none of the exercises are new, this is a good combination and a very effective warm up. Yes, it can be a "light workout" for someone on an active rest day.

  • I used to subscribe to underground fitness, I think they use the same gym(recognise the Yoda quote)? There was this clip for simple exercises for the abs.

  • Just wondering is doing too much of dynamic warm up bad for you or something ..I find myself doing this evry 3 hrs or so is that bad .???

  • @paulthecoolest

As long as your body can handle it, its just fine. But why are you doing a warmup 3 times a day? Its good for stretching and warming up before a workout, not intended as a workout itself.

  • @bankypunk I do them as corrective exercises.. I have some posture probs and lack mobility in my joints (like most ppl).. Its improving very rapidly thanks to this dynamic stretching thingamajig found here on youtube and a dvd i bought ..And yeah I do hav the mental capacity to know that this is not a workout ..But just so you know any activity can be called an exercise if it affects either aerobic or the anaerobic systems..So lengthy bouts of this stuff produce such an aerobic effect

  • Todd your my BOYYYYY!!!! lol Love your videos

  • Excellent Workout Dude, im going heading out to do something similar :) Very Motorvating. Former Irish National Champion Sprinter. MG

  • 1:38 "Oh yeah, Mr. Durkin likes that fo sho beeyotch!"

  • Hahaha... The girl doesn't know which way to direct her arms to stretch the hip on the lunge. Maybe the filming is making her nervous.

  • Wow this is the stuff athletes pay thousands of dollars to learn, and he is showing us for free, thank you very much!

  • Excellent video! I especially like the gate swings. I am the strength coach at TapouT TC, Las Vegas and I'm always looking for good exercises to open up the hips of the fighters.

    Thanks for posting the vids!

  • Todd Durkin is such a great motivator. This guy has so much energy and enthusiasm. I use this dynamic warm-up myself, and it is great! It's a great workout, even by itself. Good for days when you're really pressed for time. I also recommend any of Durkin's DVD's. They are really informative and very high-quality productions. Thanks Todd!

  • I'm loving that Yoda quote on the wall.

  • This is serious stuff.

  • IM GONNA TRY THIS!

  • Une manière intéressante et réfléchie d'entrer progressivement dans une activité physique et sportive. Des exemples variés d'exercices à vraiment expérimenter ! Merci ;-)

  • Love these. Definitely going to implement these with my boot campers.

    Thanks TD

  • You are welcome. Thank you for watching these videos and keep looking for new things we are doing at Fitness Quest 10

  • Great warm up!

    Cheers for sharing Todd!
