I like how you said it takes forever to get to get 85 slayer, you have no idea, i am lvl 91 zerker with 46 def and 31 pray and i am about 120k till 85 slayer. Slayer is pretty difficult without 46 def.

gilles i know for a fact the drop rate changed, and if you ask any high level slayer they will tell you the same.

drop rates are lower now yes.  But if you use slayer you get drops way more often then if you use camping method.

following, zarfots mega slayer guide 4 on zarfot:

-whip droprate is 1/450

- cannon speeds up tasks alot and costs 500K/hour. Also, its an expansion of your combat capabilities; its like using a whip instead of a rune scimi or something: it costs mroe but speeds killing up.

there ya go :P pretty nice, at first i taught u were a noob with terror using whip specs, but after seeing buns and dds it became better x]

whats the drop rate for whips? is it random? or does it drop like every 100 kills, 200, 250, etc? someone tell me plz.

Personally I don't give a damn about drop rates. I've camped abyssals for days without getting a single whip, but I've also got two whip drops in a row. Whips aren't the only good thing they drop though too, they drop lots of pure ess, rune chains, and other stuff... But yeah, I don't pay attention to drop rates, obviously they'll drop less often then say a rune scimitar from roaches.
