They already sold a season one box set of YYH, years ago. I bought it and then found out it was the tv cut, English only version. Be CAREFUL if you buy this or anything else from FUNimation. Be careful you know what you're getting before you pay for it.
It's true, they did release season 1 uncut (which makes me wonder why they're remaking it, but hey). This is partly the fault of the store I bought it from, they offered to ship it in for me but they didn't tell me there were two versions available.

ooooo I remember this it was super good! I recommend everyone viewing this anime! I already got it on DVD. I have yet to watch the last episode though lol.

They already sold a season one box set of YYH, years ago. I bought it and then found out it was the tv cut, English only version. Be CAREFUL if you buy this or anything else from FUNimation. Be careful you know what you're getting before you pay for it.

but there were 2 box sets one with an UNCUT EPISODES label on it and the other one with an EDITED EPISODES label on it.

It's true, they did release season 1 uncut (which makes me wonder why they're remaking it, but hey). This is partly the fault of the store I bought it from, they offered to ship it in for me but they didn't tell me there were two versions available.

It's their 3rd. The 1st was the intial release, the 2nd was the 2 disk 14 episode release{8 in all}. This should be the final release, 4 sets of 28 episodes a piece.

Bah, why are you re-releasing Hakusho AGAIN!? I bought the two-disc individual releases two months ago thinking those would disappear soon and now it's available for in a cheaper and easier to transport boxset, I think I'm giving up on buying anything but box sets.

I think it has something to do with timing. They were releasing DB/Z and YYH before SJ was in the US I think.
Well...I HAVE the first 3 2-disc sets, but it may be cheaper to buy these. >.>
