The Sabbath was part of the Law in that sense. In order to "remain" in favor with God, you had to also keep the Sabbath. @cornerstone111 scripture? In theories ( peered tested mathematical observation) singularities exist. There are black holes inside the center of every galaxies, billions or trillions of galaxies. But on the side of our own Orion is detected a black hole, red shift and blue shift indicates that we're near the center of a black hole. Finally another theory of that which the whole universe is inside a black hole!

@CHECKrayrobionson This belief in the Orion Nebula started as a theory by Joseph Bates, then of course, surprise surprise EGW jumped on the band wagon, and today with have this video presentation that has absolutely no scriptural support to say that Heaven is through the Nebulae of Orion, but is based on the writings of EGW that is based on a theory by Joseph Bates.

Well put together video, but Jesus isn`t going to be "flying through space" and travelling light years across the Universe. Constellations, and nebula are irrelevant as well. Jesus will return "in the blink of an eye", in other words, he will "just appear" in the clouds. Heaven is in another dimension. He won`t have to fly through space to be here.

James 2:17 is refering to FAITH not the Law. FAITH without work is dead. Is your FAITH placed on Christ or the Law? Study the book of Galatians. You haven't answerd my question. The Law was in place hundreds of years before the birth of Christ. If keeping the Law for justification was sufficant, why then did Jesus leave His glory, become a man, suffer and get cruxified?

The OT system of Law required keeping the Sabbath as part of the overall moral, legal, and sacrificial system by which the Jewish people satisfied God’s requirements for behavior, government, and forgiveness of sins. The Sabbath was part of the Law in that sense. In order to "remain" in favor with God, you had to also keep the Sabbath. If it was not kept, then the person was in sin and would often be punished (Rom. 6:23; Deut. 13:1-9; Num. 35:31; Lev. 20:2, etc....

Of course you cannot keep the law by your own strength, that's why we need to allow Christ to be in us by surrendering ourselves to Him, and it's not us who does the work anymore but He himself.

To do the good work of God. My comment on you-tube was to inform that we are under grace through Jesus Christ. We now have the Law written in our hearts. This is what Jesus was talking about when he said we must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven. Keeping a certain day will not do that for you.

To the Pharisees, the law and traditions were more important then receiving what Jesus was teaching and they missed their Messiah. Jesus also said, take my yoke for it is light and easy. The yoke of the law meant death if you didn't keep it. Today, we can go before the mercy seat of God because of the grace of Christ. God Bless you!!
