I love you and miss you so much Yaroslavl... I think of you often and I promise I will be back there soon. I am sorry I missed you 1000th birthday but I was there for the 998th and 999th birthday celebrations!!! Greetings from Australia!!!!!

В пятницу 10 сентября был праздник у господина Медведева, а не у города Ярославля. Для простых ярославцев всю Советскую площадь, прилегающие улицы и стрелку перекрыли милицией и железными заборами, а потом нас с женой не пропускали вообще никуда, мы оказались в капкане из оцеплений со всех сторон, не пускали даже туда откуда мы пришли, не пускали к туалету. На следующие два дня этого "праздника" я не пойду и вам не советую.

I will visit Yaroslavl again in 2010. Where can I find a program of the festivities in 2010, so I know what the best time for me is to come, July or August?

It's oke when the program is in Russian. I understand a little Russian, and the rest I will figure out.
