@rah01kah Because it used to be "Charlie Sheen." Since Denise Richards left Charlie Sheen and eventually started dating Ritchie Sambora, Jewel changed it. Just to be fun :)
I couldn't tell whether the whole thing--song, performances, photos of Jewel at various time--are presented here as satirical.
Just why is it Jewel's intuition is surefire while the other celebrities she names--Kate Moss, J Lo, etc-- are caught up in postmodern traps from which Jewel seems to urge us to believe she's escaped.
Didn't she forfeit the irony when she sold her song to Schick?

The Orchestra rules here, no doubt.
She uses power to sing parts the normaly sings falsetto for on the record. It takes away from the song. Still cool though.

I think she was satirizing pop culture at the time while joining it herself and making fun of herself as well for joining it.

@boredbutmoving Absolutely, I agree. But most people don't understand artists when they're being ironic, they take everything literally.
But yeah, you do get it, I thought I was the only one.

Is she sarcastic or sincere or somehow both?
