@monkey4526 rooting puts a custom firmware on it. it allows for much more customization to the phone, including speeding it up(over clocking) and running smoother because it typically isn't as bloated(with software) nor have as many bugs.

Thats what makes your app list look 3D d: Another thing, you should also mention that when you have the 3D draw option on, it my cause instability to your phone (actual warning message). fun stuff.

@elpepe0284 if all your options are unavailable then it means you havent downloaded the tools. after you download and install the tools it will unlock everything else.

@elpepe0284 nope. but go to marketplace and type in one click lag fix, or oclf and it is the one with the black icon. run the program and click oclf on the menu and thats it.
@elpepe0284 i actually am not running 2.2 froyo. it still is the 2.1 that the phone came with. i did a one click root as well as one click lag fix. the dock on the bottom that looks different than the stock phone is called Launcher pro. you can download it for free from the marketplace.
