sealed boxes have that tight smoth deep bass. with a strong vibrating feel. but smooth =) i love my 15s CVRs in the sealed box!!

Don't your car have front speakers? Are they amped? And doesn't your subwoofer ruin the coils in the 6x9's? Oh and that subfoofer should be ported. You get better SPL. Sounds better. I ain't a fan of the 6x9's as all the sound comes from behind you unless you drive in the boot.

Type R is a SPL subwoofer therefore you should be using a well-tuned ported box.

who says they have to be in a ported box? in my elcamino, i have a sealed box, exact same sub running off a RF 1000w mono. its whatever you prefer, i make my own boxes, and when u buy a new sub, it has reccomended box volume and sizes for both ported and sealed. it dont have to be ported.
