There's no official record of a 'Macedonian' nation anywhere in the world before 1944, when Tito removed part of Serbia and named it 'Macedonia'. The Ottoman censuses before 1913 do not mention 'Macedonians' as a separate ethnic group -although they mention everyone else. Are they flawed too??

There is no map with a "Macedonian" ethnicity. "Macedonian Slavs", perhaps, but that's not quite the same thing, is it? And the maps which make a distinction between you and the Bulgarians are few and far between. You were overwhelmingly classified as Bulgarians in those days.
