How the hell could you forget STYLISH add-on .. its got to be in each and every list.. afterall, it enables you to put themes for facebook, youtube etc..etc...
Yeah I agree AdBlock Plus should have been your #1 and the rest were meh. You didn't add FlashBlock which should be #2 on the list. Some Flash on the web can be harmful and you can whitelist sites like youtube dot com under it's Options.
@LoudGJ Yeah NoScript shoulda been on the list too, overall the list should be AdBlock Plus, FlashBlock, NoScript (for ads, Flash and JavaScript), those should be the top 3, with Xmarks to backup bookmarks, those would be my top 4. And make sure to turn off cookies and the stuff I mentioned and just whitelist your most visited sites, this will ensure safe browsing practices and no unwanted cookies, JavaScript, etc. gets stored. But they should all be installed together.
foxmarks is good but its been renamed to xmarks which has since been integrated into firefox 4 (coming soon) and adblock plus can't live without. The others were meh, and the number 1 was the worst ever add-on.
You try too hard to sound like a traditional reporter (which gives an overwhelming impression of fakeness). Just speak to us like you would speak to your family and friends... I found your struggle to adhere to professional form quite distracting in this video. Enjoyed recommendations.
Adblock Plus remains the No. 1 most popular addon in Firefox history... how sad that the corporate whores at cnet have to manufacture a reason for skipping over it at No. 2. That doesn't say much for the objectivity of cnet reviews, does it?
@surfob Adblock Plus saves you small banner ads but costs webmasters money but you didn't want to give up a few hundred pixels to pay for something they are giving you for free. that qualifies as theft more than piracy does in my mind. btw it's called top 5 addons not most popular addons, top rated and most popular are very rarely the same thing. how sad that the keyboard warriors on youtube have to manufacture something to whine about to bash corporations when theres plenty of real reasons.
gay add ons.. i just use adblock plus, and spell checker.. lololololol I WANNA CHANGE THA COLOURZ OF MAH FIREFOX THOUGH WERE IS THA ADD ON THAT MAKEZ IT LOOKS GOOD I DONT LIKE THIS GREY SHYT u feel me homiez. word.
SearchWith is THE best add-on! look for it, it allows you to search ALL photo search engines at once, by just selecting the name of a person or a thing on a page. Let's say you're reading that Miley Cyrus is having a thing with ... George Clooney, you then select his or her name, or both, go to the context menu and it will search on all your photo search engines AT THE SAME time, by opening tabs in the background. Suppose u added google pic, yahoo images and flickr, then these will opened
YES! I love the All-In-One Sidebar!

Noscript is the best firefox add on, and that tab thing seems interesting but the rest of the list sorta sucked

Of course what CNET picks for the top 5 is some stupid shit - nothing that protects your browser. What a bunch of tools. Don't listen to CNET,.

@viperpulse Personas for Firefox should've been there, because at the time it wasn't a regular feature, it was an add-on, which by the way, is great.

2-2
in the background .... simultaneously!
If you added 15 torrent sites to your Service called "my damn torrents" then it will search 15 sites simultaneously in the background!!!!
No need for huge meta search torrent engines!
or meta-search whatever. you can make your own now.
And with the menu rearranger add-on you can move it to the main context menu, not all the way to a sub-menu.
