  • Incredible...

  • I heard Pogorelich play this in Sydney many years ago. What he achieved at the piano was so beyond magic there are no words to describe it. He should have won the Chopin competition in 1980 but in retrospect it really didn't matter at all. He will always remain for me one of the greatest pianists of our time. In the world of dance I consider Nureyev his counterpart. Their creative energy and ability to look beyond for me seems to be one and the same.Thank you so much for this clip.

  • Who are the 2 dislikes? This is very special stuff. I really think the like and dislike buttons need to be coloured green and red, so people don't misclick!

  • How marvelous to see this great artist up close! He is certainly the greatest and most interesting pianist of the last thirty years. There are several marvelous YouTube videos of him playing the complete GASPARD DE LA NUIT.

  • What competition was this in?

  • Wow! Always sensational

  • Secondo me avrebbe dovuto fare il modello! *_*

  • Fantastic and rare video! Pogo's Gaspard de la Nuit is the top!

(that piano is soo out of tune!)

  • gaspar de la nuit o jeeeeeeeeeeee!

  • awesome, thx!

  • Amazing!!

I hope there is a complete version.

Pogorelich is the best pianist today

  • Is this the whole clip?

Btw, thanks so much. very cool.

  • Unfortunately, this is all I've got. Perhaps there is a complete version.
