Lawson was originally an American convenience store company founded in Ohio the early-20th century. It's good to see that Japan still maintains the original Western-style Lawson logo as well as the infamous "Lawson Station" signs that were prevalent in Ohio back in the day. Too bad this store doesn't exist outside of Asia today.

@IamMrMister007, i know this video is old but i hope you can answer me this question. I noticed that you said something about bringing in the camera into the store and how they would react. Are camera's not allowed in the store?? And if not, why not?? I live in California where we have Japanese stores also and i tried to record a small bit for a friend that lives in Osaka, showing him that we also have a bit of Japan here. I was asked to put my camera away by a shop worker. Great video btw.

@xMcLoven oh, I live in the U.S. but I've been to different countries, and still Japanese convenience store is the best. They have everything compare to other countries convenience store. Much cleaner, very safe, and they got everything. you sound like you never been to Japan. Stores in Japan are the best. So many variety of stuff.

I absolutly cannot believe, the Lawson's Dairy Mart outfit I remember in Green Township, Ohio, between Akron and Canton, Ohio, off Arlington Rd., and 619 (Turkeyfoot Lake Rd.), is still a viable chain in Japan.....
