Hey, thanks for posting this. It's really cool. I gotta admit, despite that this is only fiction and whatnot, there's an epicness to it that I wish was real to some degree.
Its medicant bias send a message to the master chief saying that he wants to be forgiven of his crimes against everyone. Though medicant stats that the flood cannot be defeated. It makes sense the medicant would send this to him.
Uhm, I can imagine some people will find this stupid, but in my opinion it sounds like Kratos from Tales of Symphonia, who cannot die, who lived already 3000 years, who is a human and became an angel, did many horrible crimes... somehow this is what I have to think of when I listened/read this.

But the Forerunners killed them all, the last one was on a Planet called Charum Hakkor, and revealed secrets about the Flood so terrible, some committed suicide. After conversing with the precursor for 43 years in his containment on Installation 05, to find a defense against the flood, Mendicant went rampant and then betrayed the forerunners. Not to say the prisoner was not Gravemind, but it most definitely was a precursor.

If you play the sounds the terminals make right before they go red, there is a message. Not sure what it is though.
