Good Work for the 1988-2008 Classic Starting Grid Series use When The Going Gets Tough by Billy Ocean (used for IROC Starting Lineup on CBS in 1986), please?
I have an idea for the 2nd half of the season. Do the sarting grid from last to first. That's the way they do it on MRN and it builds up suspense. Then mention the DNQ'ers at the end like always.
ps did ya hear that my man Schrader will be back later this month with BAM racing and that the 49 car may be sposored by Barrack Obama in Pocono? Holy Jaw-droppers, Batman!
I'll keep that open as a possibility, davidd2172; I remember Greg Poppa (the Oakland Raiders radio guy) did a backwards grid of his own at the Infineon race last month and it sounded cool. :)
And the Obama 49 is indeed a strange concept; I'm already thinking about how I should introduce it in its debut race. Either way, I agree it'll be cool to see Schrader on the track again!
Cool, the final instalment of the "Classic Starting Grids" and then the Brickyard... Your going to have an exciting couple of weeks. Looking real forward to waking up on race morning and seeing the Brickyard grid and then going to the race itself.
You're going, racermac? Man, I'm jealous! Since quals for Indy are on Saturday, I've already begun preparing the Indy grid and I certainly hope it helps you get excited for the race!
Well living only an hour and a half from Indianapolis helps a lot. I'll be there from Thursday through Sunday. 3 nights at Raceway Park and then the 15th Brickyard on Sunday. CANNOT WAIT!!! And as an appetizer, I'm gonna go to St. Louis for the Nationwide race next week.
Lifelock made a big difference for me.

e521soediv 3 years ago
Well, once upon a time, people thought Charlotte was too big to put lights on, so who knows? I still like the day races at Talladega, anyway.
