  • I prefer Paula Deen's cookie icing (on youtube). She uses meringue powder as opposed to the egg whites. Royal icing gets too hard for my taste.

  • @cookie15863 if you can't get egg whites in the supermarket, then 3 oz of egg whites is 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon of egg white

  • @random12345125 pasteurized eggs are just regular eggs but they undergo pasteurization to kill salmonella bacteria which is present in some eggs... it can cause poisoning.... but you cn still use the regular eggs.... pasteurized eggs are used as precautionary measures to ensure safety...

  • @ ticooo69 It could be two reasons, the eggs were old, or the bowl where u mixed was wet or greasy. The bowl MUST be totally dry and clean. Also remember to add the sugar little by little :)

  • @HunnieRawrr143 Royal icing is for little flower-ish decorations mostly, because it gets stiff when it's dry. So you can make little decos with it and put them as a decoration on your butter-cream icing on the cupcake. ;)
