I think the part I missed most from the movie was the back story and interaction between Katherine and Tim. I thought it was a lovely side story, especially because it made me able to forgive my own mother in some ways.

this is a fantastic movie!yes it doesnt truthfully follow the manga (which is mind blowing btw) but it's still well made and it sticks to some parts of the plot!it's a pitty they left out Zeus though who plays a v.important part for the manga story but i still bought the dvd!look at it as a shortened point of view of the manga :) looooooove both versions!!!!!!!!

The movie kind sucked :\ It didn't even play this song the way it's played here. All you get is a remix, and the movie...i'd give it a 2/10 for sticking to the plot :I

Can anyone who watched the movie tell me if it's faithful to the manga?

I guess that's very difficult considering they'd have to put 37 thirty-page chapters into an animated 1h50m film... But anyway I'd like to ask.

@SuperSaiyanLink093 the length seems almost adequate although i have no idea since i havent read the manga and not an avid manga reader (havent finished a volume of fruits basket) but yeah i assumed they shortened things up (think of the live action movie adaptation of Death Note) problem is, i missed around 5 to 10 minutes due to a false fire alarm going off. being a movie with limited screen time, some of the plot twists that wouldve been dramatic in the manga seemed disjointed IMO

@SuperSaiyanLink093 It's definitely not. Many characters who are dead aren't alive, and vice versa. The first thirty minutes, is like, the first ten pages :\ Mind you, I watched it in german with no subs (I can PM you the link :D) but, take my word for it. It's WAY different.

@SuperSaiyanLink093 no it is not alice is the main villain in the movie and Zeus is not even in it plus the guy with all the tattoos die only a few parts are similar to the manga trust me the movie is only good for a one time watch
