I've listen to swedish born people speak, and a good amount of them have a certain inflection on vowels and certain letters, when swedish singers sing in english that disappears and they pretty much sound perfect. on the opposite side, if an american tried to sing in swedish, it would probably sound wrong.

Maybe that's because we watch a lot of american tv and rarely ever dub anything, with the few exceptions of children shows. I don't know, but maybe that's it?

Soilwork is much better than in flames - better singer, better music(WHICH ISN'T METALCORE, WHATEVER PEOPLE SAY; IT'S MELO-DEATH)better drummer(in flames' drummer isn't bad, just worse than Dirk) everything is better.....except the guitar sound on the latest record - it sounds really hollow and weak.....

you'll have to define screamo then because melo death consists of melodic passages and melody lines with brutal verses which are more like typical death or groove metal. Vocally, screaming lyrics and at times clean chorus and almost always a guitar solo. So if that is the same as screamo then I guess you're both right but I don't really think you don't know what you're talking about.
