  • You got to agree though that Australian commentators are far better than England's, they have so much more character; hearing Richie's analysis, Bill Lawry go crazy when a wicket falls, Tony and Slats argue its classic. Furthermore, sure England has won the ashes 3 times since 1987....... lol I think Australia has the upper hand in that department and England are going to be beaten in 2013 by an already rapidly improving australian side up 3-0 against India

  • 06/07 Ashes series? That was a good one for you poms, at least Australia hasn't been destroyed 5-0 after winning a series like the 05' one

  • FUCK YOU ENGLAND YOU STUPID CUNTS, NONE OF THESE MOMENTS WERE GREAT, YOU ARE ALL JUST JEALOUS COS YOU HAVE SHIT TEETH YOU FAGGOT CUNT POM CUNTS!

oh and i believe when glenn mcgrath rolled his foot it gave us brits a massive advantage..

  • Pietersen's shot down the ground was so memorable, so brutal!

  • i hate england cricket team

  • @RoyalRumble :-D

  • whats the difference between ricky ponting and a funeral director? a funeral director doesn't keep losing the ashes ;D

  • I think England in the last 3 years have made Ponting's career a bit of a nightmare

  • Could anyone explain what a maiden ton is ? is it the same as a ton ?

  • @RugbyPredictions but his first one ton

  • JONES....BOWDEN!!! Favourite moment ever in Test Cricket

  • Ahh i didnt know this was all about englands triumphs. why did i watch that. it burns, my eyes burn. ouch.

  • 52 people are bitter Australians who can't accept that they're shit!

  • The bowled by Harmison brought tears to my eyes. Probably one of the greatest cricketing moments of ALL time.

  • wat about wen we actually won it???

  • Harmison's slow ball yorker changed the series, best ball I've ever seen....

  • In Affectionate Remembrance of ENGLISH CRICKET, which died at the Oval on 29th AUGUST 1882, Deeply lamented by a large circle of sorrowing friends and acquaintances R.I.P. N.B.—The body will be cremated and the ashes taken to Australia.

  • on D what is is the commentator saying?!? 'Oh, Bablow, Bablow Divazee' ?

  • @tomjamo72

It's Geoff Boycott - a Yorkshire man, I know the accent's hard to understand but he says, "Ohwww... no-ball... bad luck (it think he's slightly tounge-twisted there! on the first bad luck)..... bad luck you aussies..."

  • @tomjamo72 bad blow bad blow you aussies

  • @tomjamo72 Ohh Bad Luck, Bad Luck you aussies. Geoffrey Boycott is from yorkshire

  • @tomjamo72 "Ohh Bad luck, Bad luck you Aussies"

  • @tomjamo72 Bowled! bad luck! bad luck you aussies!

  • does england actually have any english players or are they all south african? England would be know one without Strauss, Cook, Trott and pietersen

  • @cheyne22 Cook's English

  • I'm pretty sure there was also good moments where Australia was on top, pretty biased video don't you think?

  • @ANWAIZIN Well given it is ecbcricket it's not surprising that they're going to favour england...

  • england owns aussie coaches and saffa players.

Can't beat em? Hire poeple who can.

  • england can suck my balls

  • Comment removed

  • cmon england!

  • best moment was 2nd test match by ricky ponting... ''we're gunna have a bowl''

  • Could be said that if just one of those moments goes Australia's way, England don't win the Ashes. Looking back, we were v lucky.

  • @StandfreeFM Exactly. Aussies score 3 more runs in the 2nd test and they win the series. The 2 sides were really close and it was nice England got the win at long last. It also made people more interested in the sport. Let's hope this winter in Oz is as exciting as this one was.

  • a game lot better than baseball

  • best series in the world of cricket

  • enlgands shit

  • How I enjoyed that series, edge of seat stuff.

  • hawty...its sponsored by the english cricket board you tit. of course it is.

and....aussies 'own' england. no...i believe our queen owns your country....and we won the ashes.

    gutting.

  • @hawty0boy yeh course they were !!!! england

  • @hawty0boy aussies own england? currently watching your boys getting humiliated on your own soil... the ashes is ours.

  • @skay42 Great to see you guys finally win one some time.

  • @skay42 Enjoy the ashes while you have them Australia is back. Australia beating India 3-0, just when you poms though you had world dominance.

  • @wheatbix100 Pretty sure we beat them 4-0 last year so it's no biggie.

  • @skay42 we still have one match to go against india. and the difference is that so far out of our 3 wins, 2 of them have been outright (by an innings)

  • @skay42 i think us aussies will enjoy the ashes this year ;)

  • @skay42 England on the way down already, recently 3 nil defeat. I think the Ashes will be coming back where they belong very soon.

  • @hawty0boy 3-1 pal.

  • yeah 2005 was the best series ever i reckon, this series was good but 2005 was real top quality cricket every day played every test

  • yeah. and the next ashes was even better. hahaha pommys are hopeless!

  • @17aiken23 what about the one just gone? :)

  • That ball from Harmison was a bloody beauty I must admit. Clarke was stunned! What a series that was... Never forget it.

  • Andrew S, the best

  • a) elation

    b) platonic love

  • Q RAYOS ES ESO????

  • 160 all out in a deciding test is what's really laughable. Likely to retain this series? Naahh!

  • Sorry to All the Austrailians here commenting about winning this series

    F

  • Retain this series too, you sure?

  • not quite ready to concede just yet matey

  • England have won the 2009 Ashes series 2-1 Don Bradman, Evonne Goolagong, INXS, John Howard, Olivia Newton John, Elle Macpherson, Mel Gibson, Sir Edmund Barton, Dame Edna, Captain James Cook, Shane warne your boys took a hell of a beating....See you in 2011

    lmao

  • Need to learn to bat in the first innings "matey". The little urn is back where it belongs.

  • thats like somebody putting a rock on a ledge 2 hours later it falls everyone starts cheering, I have no idea WTF is going on..

  • What I seriously don't get: Lots of coverage of the players celebrating. But not a single slo-mo...

  • lol u know someones an ideot when there complaining about an england cricket group not showing bits of austrailian good cricket against england and then saying 'england have won the ashes like 3 times' who are these ppl?

  • harmys ball is just insanee

  • lucky we won the next series 5 nil hey

  • brilliant pull gone straight... woah...

  • Hope they don't bottle it again and show the convicts they can play

  • LoL

  • Why are you watching videos of it then?

  • hust so you know u noob that the white stuff you put on your nose is Zinc not sunscreen. stop criticizing cricket. its better than most sports.

  • A very well reasoned argument. Well done!

  • that over flintoff bowled at edge was wicked

  • I would have picked Matthew Hoggard's 4 at Trent Bridge. It was that moment I knew we were gonna do it and get the win.

Also Fred's massive six out the ground

  • mcgraths bowl is a beast of a delivery, batsman had no chance

    sweet!

    x

  • I'm not an Aussie bud, I'm from Glasgow and though like I said I know nothing bout cricket, England did do well to get a draw or at least that's what they said on Sky.

  • good times..

  • nb: that's exactly what they said in 2005. Whitewashes were predicted.

  • 2005 is a long time ago hahahaha

The Ausies are about to rip you tea drinkers apart

  • So insulting :'(

You're just a big meany for saying that!

    DOUCHE

  • My apologies if i hurt your feeling about the tea drinking...

face it the Ausies are going to destroy the English tea or no tea....

  • as long as an tiny ember of hope still burns on the barbeque of freedom, a mighty steak of victory can be cooked.

  • Ok The English beat the ausies at Lords

1st time in 75 years well done...

Just a pitty the South African Umpire who I'm sure hates the asies had to be the Englishmans 12th man but other than that I'll take my hat off to Freddie and da boys they showed thier class on the last day..

And that Steak buddy hope you enjoy it well deserved on calling this 1 and surporting your team 100%. If u eva pop into SA i owe you a beer...

  • Ahem.............!

  • aussie aussie aussie

  • what amaising media here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i don't understand this =s

  • man i'd love to watch this in america, but i cant seem to find it anywhere..well i dont want to pay 40 dollars for payperview but ya =(

  • Haha, funny this is coming out now. Is this to block out England's memory of losing 5 Nil in Australia?

That was a great catch by Strauss though.

  • Interesting how they all start after the first game (where Aus Dominated) and skip Old trafford (Where a brilliant ton from Ponting saved the game for Aus)

  • im guessing ur english and u hate aussies

  • Australian here:P

Great cricket that was in 2005.

  • Takes two sides to make great cricket though :)

  • HAHA the good old days... When England were still good at some sports

  • wow!!! thanks dude!!

    i love UK!!!!

    yeah!!!!

    your accent is

    better than american

    accent whoo!!

  • WTF is cricket???

  • a game better than baseball

  • @youngbush404 Was that even necessary? You've got two great, related bat-and-ball games, enjoy them both instead of needlessly trashing one.

  • You have to understand the game before you can appreciate the athletic-chess.... Man some of the best games i've witnessed have been draws.

  • like the most recent Ashes test would you say? Don't know what ponting was doing with his bowler's at the end, but still, as an englishman I'll take that mistake and be glad with the miracle. Can't believe we got a draw out of it

  • Had it been overcast on the last day like every other day of cricket in England the Aussies would have got some movement and it may have been a different story...

It's cool... Good for the series and great for this beautiful game.

  • fuck you

  • get lost

  • What's the point? You play a match for 5 days straight and it's a draw! Then the same 2 teams go to another ground and do the same again. And again. And again. And again.

Am I missing something or is it basically up to 25 days of the same game with the good possibility of a draw being declared every 5 days due to the fact that there are two scoring variables. Intense.

  • You seem to miss the point that it's not so much the result that matters as the method of getting there, the fact that the game can be drawn adds another element to the game, you'd be surprised how irregularly a 5 or even three test series ends without a side wining a match

  • remind me, who won the next ashes series 5-0!

  • you poms wont be laughing when u lose the ashes AGAIN! lol

  • cricket is the best

  • ha, and yet we beat you 5-0 next ashes

  • PAkistan is the best team in cricket

  • ya right

  • I can only say England the discoverer of the gentleman game cricket dont have a world cup :( that sound a bit sad to me

  • could somebody explain criket for me please

  • started by the english. it's like baseball but they change "bowlers" every 6 balls. Well i give up here but watch more videos from this channel and you'll get the game

  • i could but i can't be bothered

  • this is bias. those arn't moments

  • no, its moments where england isn't terrible.

  • I can't wait for the "TwelfthMan's Top 10 Greatest Moments from 2009"

    1) Flintoff bowls a maiden at the oval

    2) England survive into 5th day at Lords...

  • this was 4 years ago.since then aussies have been kicking uk butt n going strong at it. have a life loser

  • whats this game called is it new?

  • cricket. it's very old. about 1700's

  • bias much? lol..

  • Never leave a comment before the end of the match mate it was a draw!

    Monty Monty Monty Monty Panesar!

  • haha cricket xD

    never seen this b4

is it so hard to hit the ball with the board?

looks more easy then baseball despite the ball hits the floor first

  • a most dishonorable draw by the Poms..wonder you never got their mums out to change their nappies...... wasted a bit more time eh?

  • coll, nice hits

  • and in 2006/07 we had them and england got owned...... badly 5-0

  • aussie rules atm lol

  • how good are england going at the moment? Lousy bunch of flogs.

  • if you look a replay, you will see michael kasprowicz didnt hit the ball (label C). shouldn't have been given out.

  • noob sport

  • what a weird game. i'd rather play soccer

  • best moment when ricky ponting got run out by the 12th man... just loved the look on ponting's face. I wish everytime he gets out by a 12th man ;-)

  • has the 2006/07 series been stricken from english history books well done on winning in 2005,but remember we played as bad as we could and you played above yourselves.now lets look at this test in cardiff ,you won the toss on a doctored pitch ,made 435 .and should have won from there .well against any team over than australia you would have.instead your 200 plus behind on the first dig and the only thing that can save you is rain.enjoy watching these highlights.because there wont any this time

  • I noticed the date that you posted this, I guess you couldn't find anything from the current test to gloat about.......

  • Unless you want to talk 4 centuries from Australia I agree LMAO In the first innings alone.

  • I would wish both the team the very best of luck, but Aussies are in better condition. But you never know what can happen in Cricket:)

  • Type in JakeRs Decade. lots more about what your looking for.

  • hahaha i know eh?

  • it looks like baseball.. its intresting

  • History seldom repeats...............but garlic does LOL

  • what is this sport called?

  • cricket

  • we will win ..............go Aussie LOL

  • Same to you sir!!!

  • That's because these were the most important moments of the series.

  • The most important moments were the moves in the gamne, not the people hugging afterwards.

  • That's what i meant.Not the hugging

  • Que deporte es este??? Nunca lo havia visto!!!

  • Jonessssssssssssssssss

    Bowdennnnnnnnnnnnnn

  • jeaaa

  • SERIOUSLY...
