o nevermind, you cut it...i thought u just pinched it...if you pinch it properly, it will branch out and the middle will still grow, instead of having two equal tops, you can have three, its a feel, i cant explain it, but say just squeeze the middle main branch untill the inside cracks a couple times, but not too much...it takes practice..but yea, u can get a plant to have a lot of branches if you pinch it properly, u could call it super cropping, but without the bending...

@birdstalkeriscat full spectrum 6500k bulb can Veg a plant, have seen a 42watt 4100k bulkb paired with a 26watt 6500k bulb grow threw both veg and flower stage with a fair yeild when combined with Low stress training techniques. i hope that gets you something to look into. also a small scrog grow can help you out to ;)

@Adopotato44 Id say go according to your plants. When i could remove the whole plant with all soil i knew it was in need of some more room lol. Thats the way i look at it tho is Every grow you see is done different even one change makes it not the same at all. So check with your plants lol ;) Also i noticed it when roots were just coming out of all the drain wholes like crazy lol. Maybe they were thristy and i was late LMAO. Anywho Peace and Wellness/

If there was a strain worth keeping in my books (Maybe one day) then ill just Feminize them. Make the plant Reproduce with its self by inducing stress and mating a hermie clone with mother lol That should work lol/.

hmmmm, what are you doing wrong here. My plants were 4x bigger and ready to flower after week 4. I had 3 75w CFL's running 18/6. I'm actually almost at the end of week 5 and pistils are showing on my Deep Sweet Grapefruit and one of my Super Lemon Hazes.

@StartswithASeed trial and error thats right man i almost lost my 2 best plants due to error light was to close i backed them up and now 1 of my fav babies are getting bigger still lost 2 of the bottom leaves they are about 2 weeks ago and look identical too your plants on p2 when they were 2 weeks old i just wish i planted june 2009 like u did i would be a master now

@thegreatweedsmoker I would suggest if they are Rooted Clippings, Wait till the forth visible node, from seed i would suggest maturity. i had topped the one plant only because i had removed deformed growth, other one i waited for forth node. but honestly once a plant has a good health leafs and root systems. its hard to kill by breaking and bending and cutting as long as there is still a good roots system and some leafs to continue phottosysthesis, lol Man i hope i didnt run off to long. peace

@rct0615 I had foilair feeding. Just a regualr veg seedling feed taht dosent burn and can be used topically on leafs and such, ;) Don't really know if it helped. i had not tried without.

you shouldnt water leaves that prevents the plant from taking in light and air as much as possible and with a hot enough light could cause burn marks just water soil plants take in water at roots not leaves

leafs were being sprayed down about 10 mins befor dark cycle. And no cfls have not burnt any leafs/. and you are wrong leafs take in nutrients, foliar spray application. This alos helps to slow down or stop bug colonization. ;)

a good soil to use is ecoearth, then put like a half inch layer of miracle grow saughan peat moss on top of the soil. ive had success with this every grow using this

I am thinking of doing my first grow. I already bought Durban Poison Feminized seeds from GROWINGWEEDSEEDS [.] COM and I was wondering, would you recommend a CFL setup? I am going to be growing in my closet which is fairly large, but I'm not yet sure how many plants I want to try for my first time.

Please do not spam. Thanks JohnnySeed. (Check spectrums of bulbs. best results for growing is to use a fullspectrum,6500k or greater (As close as you can get to nature, besdies the uv and uvb rays) Hope this can help you start your search.

Had cut new growth just above a node/ Its wasnt intended at this early in growth but deformed growth had to have been cut.

Deformed growth, was cut becasue after the problem was tackled, I had decided it was best to remove this deformed growth for new growth. ;)

Very much so, From what i can understand the Process of the THC is like a sunblocker produced by the Plant to protect its self from the sun. Weird no? Sorry just thought id share something i had read. Check into it. ;P

why do some plants have 3 points on the leaves ? other have 5-7 ? is it just the kind of plant ? lol this is a serious question as dumb as it sounds

As the plant matures it may begin to have anywhere from 3 to 5 to 7 to 9 and more. so far i have only gotten 5 with small really small sevens ;P but i havent grown anything over 2 months ;P so i dont know what may come in the future. As far as i know all strains have the capability for this, I really dont think it makes a diference its all in the bud. Thanks for watching, Peace and Wellness!
