  • this sounds like a BBC Songs of Praise episode done in the 90's.

  • Any idea where this was recorded?

  • @ThatMinidotCom Unfortunately I don't know where was recorded :-(

  • Brilliant and spine-tingling!!!!!!!!!!! Happy memories of the choir working for me at The Gatehouse Theatre, Stafford (1987) and Radcliffe Civic Theatre (c.1994)!

    Still the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wondeful

  • Yes: A better version than mine. Thank you very much. Many years ago when I drove the trolley buses in Nottingham I sat in the depot canteen listening to Sunday half hour on the radio. The Treorchy male voice choir sang my favourite hymn of the sea. Eternal father strong to save, it was very moving. They are so good and the Welsh really know how to sing.

  • @silverstartrucker Glad you liked it. Yes the Welsh certainly know how to sing!

I hope the tradition lives on.
