It was once explained to me by a far-right smug English guy that the reason why Wales isn't represent on the coins is "because Wales is legally part of England". I was dumbfounded. This is all the more reason why the Welsh need to wake up and get their independence!

The problem with the new coins is that the design is modernist faggotry. Part of a cospiracy to ween British people off British money towards souless, Mickey Mouse "euros". There was nothing wrong with the old designs, it represented everyone. I think I've seen pounds with a dragon? As well as the 2p design was Welsh.

The new coins have nothing to do with 'faggotry' you bigot. Their design is derived from the Royal Insignia. The Euro isn't Mickey Mouse at all. Put in a petition to see if you'd be able to get your swastika put on your coins, but I doubt it would be accepted by any parties (apart from the BNP).

Firstly-It's a CH4 news report.

Secondly-This study only involved a couple hundred volunteers from the South East of England & North Wales. Stephen Oppenheimer{and others}have done a far more comprehensive study with thousands of genetic samples taken from right across the UK. Their findings show that the majority of white English people, come from the same area as the Welsh(Iberian Peninsula)...sorry to burst your bubble.

The reason why wales is not represented is becuase its not on the coat of arms. I think the coat of arms should be changed becuase england has half of it, we are not better than wales scotland and northern ireland so it should be changed.

I just felt that Wales should be represented, too. It sounds like these are going to be around for a long time because they are phasing out Britannia.

The designer of the new coins is from North Wales! His parents had taken an interest and given him their thoughts and he said he naturally ignored them. Perhaps, they had mentioned Wales was missing!

Unfortunately the 2008 issues will have been long minted, but I agree with you entirely. The way some Brits go on you'd think the Queen was born with this coat of arms tattooed on her arse.

Tradition had to be crated at some point, and coat of arms traditionally evolved in design anyway!

Wales has a clear and unique identity and there is space on the coat of arms for a Dragon. I see no reason why it cannot or should not be done.
