  • What a dresses !! are so GORGEOUS

  • 95% of these outfits cant be worn to eat at a restaurant because they are not functional. WOW so stupid

  • @mec7up it's haute couture ,it's not designed for everyday wear..

  • great show..and amazing opening..but who the hell buys those dresses..and for what occasion?

  • @Rafazzel Who? ALL THE ARTIST !!!!!!!!!

  • betäubend schön !

  • 惊悚+美艳!

  • alek wek really knows how to work a dress

  • music?

  • This represents what fashion really is. Fashion is art, art of living, art of creation. Every piece of this show represents a little part of a culture. It's awesome... i hate people who think fashion is superficial... f**k u bitches!

  • @mthrnaturesson: they practiced how many steps they should take before they strike a pose and they count their steps. loads of practice went into that.

  • OMG THE OPENING. MUST HAVE DRESS!

  • Some of the outfits Lady Gaga wears

  • i LOVE it

  • For more like this, SUBSCRIBE to our channel!

  • capitalism really have create monsters.

  • I think there was an Egyptian theme going on here

  • The make ups are terrific!!! I'm speechless!

  • The Emperor has no clothes. I hope I don't have to explain this comment.

  • I want that remix! is awesome!

  • Also, if you really visited Egypt and experienced its culture, you'd know that there is WAY more to the country than just pyramids, scarabs, and mimicking the wall paintings from pharaoh tombs/etc. There is SO much more. So, I guess this collection bothers me because he's getting so much attention for a very superficial interpretation of what Egyptian culture is, he's further putting Egypt into a box, and this is vaguely insulting to Egypt instead of complimenting their culture.

  • @vindemiatrix I don't really agree with you. yes this is obvious that John Galliano used most distinctive characters from Egyptian Culture, but if you pay close attention, you will find he also used a lot of subtle symbols such as sign of Annunaki, I personally came from a much different cultural background that I learn Annunaki due to the interest about 2012, but back in 2004, he already paid deep attention to those part!

  • @megaera2988 I don't think there is anything subtle about using the sign of Annunaki. Anyone can go to an encyclopedia and get the ideas he has for this collection -- I don't feel like he actually went to Egypt even though I know he probably did. I feel like he went there and didn't make it any further than the hotel and from the view of an air conditioned car. It's just sad that all he can say for Egyptian culture is stereotypical imagery.

  • @vindemiatrix Also what is so interesting about his design is that Also what make you think there is someone else is able to make an beautiful mummy dress like these ? and combine both Egyptian Culture into French Haute Couture so perfectly? U should definitely see 2007 Spring haute Couture show, and then compare with both.

  • @megaera2988 I don't need to see anything lol it isn't a question about the fabrics or about his skill -- I'm not denying him any of that because the construction of the clothes definitely speak for themself. I'm just saying his ideas are stereotypical and campy -- like a ten year old was asked to draw what a dress inspired by egpyt would look like and the kid draws a pyramid with a person wearing it. I think the clothes are kinda tacky. Beautifully constructed, beautiful fabrics, but tacky.

  • So, my only issue (and it's my issue based on my personal taste) with the collection is that he was inspired by Egypt but he took it so LITERALLY. Like, it really obviously screams Egypt. I guess I like an interpretation that is more subtle? Because it is on the verge of camp and it's a thin line to cross over from artistic to cartoonish...

  • I see that someone is an angry, closeted homosexual. It's okay, LuniaVideo, we won't judge you since you have clearly established yourself as someone to ignore by making childish inflammatory remarks. I hope all your money and paintings keep you comfort at night! Cuz I can't think of anyone in their right mind who would!

  • OMG wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful

  • this man is a genius. period.

  • omg thats .... too much

  • good runway..... bad song!!!!!

  • i love fashion soo much i hope one day i can have a brand as good and successful as dior!

  • Give me 4 of these.

  • @LuniaVideo

This is just as much of a piece of art as any painting or statue. John gallliano didn't intend for these to be mere clothes, these are moving, wearable works of art. It is just expressed through a different medium.

  • @LuniaVideo

Just because you don't understand art, don't insult it.

  • @Riceqween01 most elitist thing I've ever read.

    anyway, gorgeous collection.

  • amazing

  • The music that starts at 5:42 is not From Egypt by Philip Glass...

Anyone know what it is called?

  • LONG LIVE GALLIANO!

  • This is one of my favourite shows by Dior. It's sad they fired him.

  • this opening completely terrifies me. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

  • This show. Forever.

  • SANTO DEUS!!!!!!

  • i'm left wondering how anubis made it up and down the runway

  • best haute couture show ever!!

  • its remixed with this song Natacha Atlas - Kidda, i think :)

  • this is something i would see in a doll..but...wow...amazing..

  • LVMH is making a big mistake, the Galliano art is amazing and nobody can replace him !!! Please LVMH do not steal the John Galliano name !!!

  • How can an artist be racist when he create such sumptuous creations .. is just not possible as here he describe ...he scream how much he admires and love the universal cultures .. i say that because i am an artist that use but before use love the cultures she use ... he is just amazing f-u-ck off Dior !!

  • 8 people don't know what Haute Couture is!

  • this is the beste runway show I ever saw!

  • Galliano ranks as high as McQueen does in my eyes. Love him.

  • best show ever!!!!!!

  • This show was awesome no matter what has been said recently about his views Galliano is still a genius when it comes to fashion and his artistic vision!!!!!!!

  • @mybigredlip i will fight you to wear it! lol

  • @kevvodevvo YOU WILL LOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU KNOW WHY? CAUSE WHEN I RUN TOWARDS IT IN MY GUCCI PUMP, I'LL RIP OF THE LONG HARD MUSTACHE AND PLUNGE IT IN YOUR THOART! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahA. EVIL LAUGHTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mybigredlip just reaised you will be running in a GUCCI pump, pleae i will be stomping in a pair lanvin sneakers!!!! the gucci pump will break off revealing nothing but air, vivre le france couture!!! lol (fyi this is all fashion jokes!)

  • @kevvodevvo Your cheap Lanvin sneakers are no match for the luxury of my COMFORTABLE Louboutin and before you can fly in your sneakers, i will use my knock you out of the air was a EXTREMLY LARGE Birkin and tie you up with a string of pearls. Therefore, running towards the dress and stealing it and raising it int eh air IN VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mybigredlip a birkin? A BIRKIN!!!!!!!! seriously! puh-lease im gonna simply turn, flash open my ysl rive gauche coat. revealing my 8 fold kiton tie and amongst those hand stitched seams will be a selection of needles, thrown into the air and wonderfully seam you a decent dress ala lanvin whilst revealing the birkins stitching to be nothing more than chinese super glue, then bestowing kindness, escort you to goyard and show you what a true bag should look and feel like. i think my work is done!

  • @kevvodevvo Your YSL rive gauche coat is no match for my sable fur coat, blocking the needles from you fold kiton tie. If you dont like the Birkin, then you better prepare for a good beating with my Louis Vuitton from Neiman Marcus. After your YSL coat and Kiton tie have been defeated by my Neiman Marcus purchases, i will stand, in my lace and Crinoline Dolce and Gabbana dress and Louis Vuitton clutch, in triumph. (VICTORY SCREECH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

  • hold breathing moments, astonoushing work......... painful dresses but it pays off, because of the beauty!!!

  • wow... I do think this is one of Galliano's best runways mainly because the main theme, being Egypt, which I truly adore.

  • i know this may sound bizarre but this collection always makes me cry, to see such unbelievable creativity, such beauty, such vision has me in tears of pleasure, everytime, this is one of my all time artistic moments.

  • ouch they can barely walk..heels must be 6 inches? otherwise brilliant

  • and im surprised they didnt play like an egyptian

  • The dresses are unique even thought there not elegant its still creative

  • OH MY GOSH~~ THEY FAILLL~~~~ The dresses make me want to throw UP~

  • please anyone knows the first track? it's awesomee!!

  • @esla90 beyonce-baby boy I love it!

  • @esla90 its BABY BOY by beyounce

  • love the music!!!!

  • Extravaganzaaaaaaaaa (L)

  • i think galliano was inspired by egypt.

  • I love the fashion but the music is horrid hehe

  • So this is just art right? There is nothing practical about the clothes in these fashion shows. I can appreciate why people would be into fashion as performance art.

But to me, this shit looks fucking goofy. I don't get it at all.

  • @primetime99 its haute couture. these clothes arent made for taking a stroll down the street honey.

  • @Quuwable Yeah I gathered that bro.

  • @primetime99 Well, some people just aren't artistic

  • being a model is not easy huh?

  • what remix of baby boy is that?

  • the first model wears clothing from the gods

  • LOVE Dior...NO ..LOVE John ...the best creative artist Dior ever HAD....

  • FUCK DIOR

  • oooof this is not haute at all, this is a carnival parade. Somebody doesn't know how to edit. Some of the pieces could have worked without all the ridiculous distractions and excessiveness. I ALMOST thought the mummy dress worked until I realized she was a damn MUMMY. The concept is just too literal for MY taste.

  • Haters shut up we're here to enjoy the show not Ur comments so just stop ok go see something else like Calvin klien if u can't take so much beauty jesus!

  • I love the show, but I do agree with otaker, i also feel the models' pain

  • lol.it's a beautiful collection.now,grow up.

  • what the fuck!! how can the powers that be at Dior allow Galliano to present this collection of garbage attached to the Dior name? Who the hell is going to wear this stuff unless it's Halloween or some costume ball? what a waste of money and fabric. My goodness, this was disgustingly horrible as a collection. BUT, that opening with te first model was great, but he should have toned it down big time afterward and present wearable clothing

  • @nordna Lady Gaga , you douche.

  • @XSims3LoliFreakzX

Your mother is a douche bastard. I didn't comment on this to be attacked for my opinion.. and by your less than brilliant insight, I think that 99.99% of the world would agree that Lady Gaga is NOT a representative of the majority, the normal, or the sane. Is this the same Lady Gaga that just stated that her blood's dna is in her upcoming perfume? Oh yeah, Dior should be proud. Yeah, you're brilliant alright. A brilliant ass. Now go use that douche you just called me.

  • @nordna your whole generation are DOUCHES you douchebag ;) And Im gunna use douce ... on you .. you superdouche ;) die pls ?

  • @XSims3LoliFreakzX

Is that the best of your vocabulary? Then I was right: You ARE a BRILLIANT ASS.

  • @nordna

I don't if you read this, but this is Haute Couture show. Almost nobody wears this, this is just for designers to show what their capabilities are! And just as @XSims3LoliFreakzX said: Lady Gaga

  • my favourite season

  • Love the creativity in the collection! I would love to have a big gold dress from Christian Dior :)

  • Curse of the Pharaoh on Mubarak ha ha ha

  • @liberiason calling it gay isn't an insult because gay is awesome

  • @ih3artmuzic ha. by 'love' dior i'm assuming you mean you like the idea of the brand but don't own anything from it, or else you would see that this is high fashion at it's best. it's called avant garde. anyone who wears dior knows what that is....

  • Sometimes I watch this again just so I can hear the mix

  • @bumbelion1977 I do the same

  • @bumbelion1977 oh my god me too XD!

  • 5:07 <3

  • What do you call those papers the audience is holding when watching fashion shows such as this? Do they rate it or something?

  • @jmanzano17 I'm guessing they write a review on the show and sometimes at shows I see people using it to fan themselves because it gets hot.

  • I DIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • whats the name of the song at 7:08???

  • @mrj13 "you've got the love" by "florence + the machine"

  • Hermosoo! beatifull

  • I think if queen Nefertiti alived she would buy all these collection

  • @edan2008 excellent comment: brought a smile to my face.

  • it is very beautiful but the outfits must be pretty heavy nd the skirts tight around their legs.... it must of been tough to model but i will be always an honor to model for CD

  • Is this the real music? Lol...

  • @LoveBreatheMusic Yes this is the real music. DJ Jeremy Healy produces the sound track for John's shows and has been working w/ him since the 80's.

  • @krxyz1 LOVE IT!

  • very entriquette!

  • I'm surprised nobody fell!!!!!

  • hmm. would gaga wear any of these dresses?

    i think she would ;)

  • @sarcasticasian Please

no mention of that generic twat on here, yes ?

  • i feel bad for the models!

the dresses are AMAZING, but they look heavy, and the runway is LONG.

  • @saturdaynightsalrite there is NO sweatshop involved in couture. they have a couture house with some of the most talented seamstresses sewing them all by hand, no machines. get it right!

  • Gorgeous, but I feel the pain of the models!

  • OK the Philip Glass music is incredible!!! Great choice. Galliano is dedicated and brilliant! Best show.

  • such beautiful, extravagant collections, never to be outdone!

  • extravaganza!

  • @fernandopox Actually gays are very clean. And the same thing could be said about a lot of women. Women bleed from the thing guys stick their dicks into. That's pretty fucking nasty.

  • @fernandopox aaand what has that to do with this at all?

  • L O V E IT!!!

  • totally unwalkabe and unwearable ==

  • @JOCHSZCH but amazing :)

  • Horrible

  • @maxwell666x Stick to your "modern fantasy movies"

    L O L

    You tasteful person, you

  • wow, Liya worked that runway !!

  • @hessiansoldier she looks like a true Pharaoh Queen

  • Please, the name of the first song?

  • @MrSheepapple

Baby Boy, Beyonce Ft. Sean Paul.

  • fucking genius

  • @itswells Thank you very much! :)

  • Gorgeous!

  • Before saying that these models can't walk -> look the way everyone have to have their hands on their hips, pose 3 times on the runway and almost at the same exact time. Which means they are directed to walk exactly this way.

  • It's not that the models can't walk - they're probably directed to walk a certain way.

  • Love the collection! But these models need to learn how to walk.

  • @andrewsrivanlop The can walk its just the clothes they are so restricting around the legs and the shoes so shush!!!

  • @bitterscreams Exactly!. it was even worse in the FW 2004 H.Couture collection, much worse. however if you watch these models in other Dior shows you can see they can walk! oh they can walk!

  • @jimmyjk08 Oh yes they can walk but people jsut dont realise the clothes are probably heavy as well anyway i love this show it is amazing.

  • @andrewsrivanlop Are you serious? Some of these girls are the best in the business. I'd like to see you "walk" with all that shit on.

  • the models cannot walk!!!!

  • at 4:21 can someone tell me the name of the song with the horns i have been searching for weeks and no luck.

  • this is an example, a great one, of why he is a fantastic design , and the styling its OOMG. Whitout words

  • thumbs up this i you know fashion and you think that john galiano not karl or marc but john is the greatest designer in the world right down alexander mcqueen!!!!
