Will someone tell me what liberalism has ever done for this country or any country . Liberalism didn't save Europe in WW2 . It can't even save an innocent unborn child . It certainly has had a bad effect on society . Sick.

Liberalism? Talk in real terms so that people really understands what's going on. Who recently told the US that they will soon no longer need the billions of dollars they are given each year? This country has been pimped by a lesser and few of you have the courage or the insight about it. It's not taxes but all about where your tax dollars are going overseas. Obama is lost . Every word he speeks, he uses as a political tool . In December of 2008 there was a Job freeze . In January of 2009 , big and small business laid of employees because of Obama's ideals . He single handedly ruined our economy . Talk to any corp owner , ask them what caused the wide scale lay offs in America . I have spoken to many business owners . Obama's idea ''sharing the wealth '' and raising taxes on businesses is a main factor . Obama = a real downer for America.

I am a small business owner ,and I can tell you this . 1 year after 911 it got very hard for me , owning a home and having all the bills of everyday life . I remember it quite well. Get in touch with someone who owns a large business . One who employs 1000 people or more . Ask them why they laid people off. 911 had a horrible affect on the economy .

Businesses are in business to make as much money as they can . Call it gread , call it evil , but business owner don't owe the American people a job . That's the problem . Lazy Americans don't produce, and businesses are stuck paying health care benefits and large paychecks to these people . Of course they have to make adjustments .

If we were to use your basic logic that business are in business "to make as much money as they can", then it gives business justification for slavery and the lesser evil of "slave wages". Wall Streets push of jobs out of the country was not predicated on Americans being "lazy" as you indicate but far more on much cheaper labor. My logic is simple common sense . Business owners need incentives . Businesses that hire Americans and keep their business here inthe states , should be rewarded with tax breaks . Controlling monetary gain of rich businesses, will surely have horrible consequences . Businesses need eager hard workers . That is hard to find in the US . Oh , and like you really care about slave labor. Your not fooling anyone .

Business owners will tell you this. Americans have become lazy and only produce the minimum requirment at their job. Buisness owners can't afford to pay their health care cost and pay higher taxes . This is why a lot of people lost their jobs . They voted themselves out of a job.

People work to make money . Most businesses that moved over seas had to hire more employees in the US because of business growth . You must understand Wall Street doesn't owe anyone . Is it corrupt ? Obama's tax plan will kill jobs if it goes through. It likely won't now that the dems have lost momentum .I know many wealthy people who all lost money . I don't know 1 rich person who gained finacially from the stock market in a long time . Most companys are waiting it out to see what happens withour so called government .Why did so many people get laid off if all the rich made so much in this stock market rip off ? I assure you, somewhere along the way, taxes will be raised and/or interest rates will go up. Reagan didn't raise the primary taxes but George H. Bush did.

The wealthy gained so much during the "good times" that most of them built a financial cushion but they least of all want to pay a little more back during tougher times. However, taxes is not the main way of fixing things, stopping the military actions are.
