Absolutely LOVE her and have been a fan for several years. Met her a few years ago at the funeral of a mutual friend. She is married to the son of my late college piano teacher, the incredible Gladys Cushon, who taught me more about music than anyone I've ever known. :)
Oleta Adams is a miracle. This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard! Combining Gershwin and Adams -- doesn't get any better than that!!!
OMG. She's coming to Columbus, OH at the end of November. She DOES perform all the time! I've always wanted to see her perform live and I've probably missed many chances because I just didn't hear about them. They're probably well publicized -- I'm just not connected. But when I recently reconnected to her music, I found out serendipitously that she was coming to my town. Long story short -- I'm there!

Watching her here, I realize: she wraps her entire being around every note because she genuinely lives and loves every note and every word she sings. What a pleasure to behold. She probably doesn't care about fame, but wouldn't it be nice if the whole world had a chance to fall in love with her? She probably performs all the time. Somebody point a camera at her.
