off the record: i liked the 1st one better, because

1) it was free, without any limitations,

2) it had .exe export feature,

3) its THE FIRST ONE ^^,

4) particle effects....

Still, i love (not gay) the guys, who made Scirra software, BY FAR better than GM8 (if we are talking about 2d)...

Ease of use, no limits for creativity, powerful engine(dont really know how to call this, erm, framework?) for whatever interactive content you can imagine.

What makes Scirra unique, is that it gives you tools to create your own METHODS how to do things... You are not just given a programming language and told to repeat same actions over and over, just with changing variables, and spend countless hours checking your code for 1 misspelled word, you are given an easy to navigate, quick, efficient tool, to make WHATEVER YOU CAN IMAGINE!!!

It would be perfect if it was 3D.

I bought C2 Early Adopter too, and I'm quite satisfied so far. It might be in beta, but hey they update with a bunch of new features every week so all important stuff will be in there in no time.

I just bought Construct 2. This is a great piece of software and you truly deserve all the money you are making from it. I can't wait to see how it will look like in a year or two. ;)

Hey guys, make sure you give the player 'Platform Movement' and there are some solids for him to jump on! Then the jump key is shift. If you can't get it to work, the forum we have will help a lot!

I already bought Construct 2 and it is amazing! :D No more crashes to the desktop, while running developed code. Execution is super-quick, compared to DirectX EXE compiling.

Plus your game is instantly on the internet, soon everybody can run HTML5 in a browser.

Construct Classic is great and I believe that Construct 2 will be even better. I'm totally going to buy it soon.
