Just out of pure curiousity (i wanna learn bass) Is it hard to learn how to play it? I asked my folks and they keep saying "Its only as hard as any other insturment" n im like...FUCK! that tells me nothing! xD" Help me out here please

@TokiiPunkLolitaUmeko I've played violin, piano, guitar, xylophone and bass, so I think i can kinda say something about how hard playing bass is compared to playing other instruments. I personally find it fairly easy, that is, compared to playing the violin. It depends on the genre you wanna play though. With pop songs its mostly easier than guitar, with jazz stuff or metal songs it can be quite challenging. If you want to play metal, any instrument is pretty hard to play. Hope this helps!

Ive actually already broken a guitar string..(the strings were cheap n the guitar was my brothers, he gave it to me) xD Bastard caught me across the eye. It stung for like 2 hours after it cut me. So i kinda wanna switch so something with thicker strings and something with a deeper sound. N it would deffenitly be a mix of Pop/rock/metal ect ect. But thank you again!

I admit you're right =) Versailles is a Good Band I thinks...But Where I live that's not really the style of the people of my age who prefer reggae dance hall...As I like all types of music so ...I wish they take another bassit even if it won't never be the same Versailles...
